ADDA STARTED to get nervous and self-conscious, suddenly worrying her manners wouldn't live up to the family standards, but in the end, the lunch developed really smoothly, mostly thanks to Travis' father, who carried the conversations and cracked a few jokes to break the ice.
While they were seated on the table, Travis had been quite reserves and serious, mostly only adding some phrases to the conversation to fill in the gap and be polite, but now, with the father resting on the sofa and the adult women on one side of the sofa, Adda was left placed right next to him, the only separation the gap between the green furniture and the embroidered armchair the guy was in.
I wasn't sure if you would like the cuscus.
