Chapter 93 - Liberation (3)

The carriage pulled up to the North entrance of the temple. The temple loomed over them in its white and gold glory. It was really hard to believe that such a beautiful place could be capable of such atrocities.

Shana pulled her gaze away from the bright temple and lush green gardens surrounding it. How should they do this? The Guild Master was with them but he never gave them a script, just a general idea. There were several ways that she could approach a marital spat but which way would garner the most attention?

The carriage rolled to a stop. The North archway that led into the temple towered before them. White lilies and white peonies surrounded the bottom of the archway. And inside the garden, red roses, the only color besides the vibrant green of the shrubbery, could be seen.

With an idea in mind, Shana muttered her apologies to Laxel quietly. "Why-?" Laxel started to ask but was abruptly cut off when Shana pulled his ear.
