Demian laughed. He had found out last year that Remi was proficient in a whip. He had originally believed that Remi just loved the weapon but later found out the real reason he knew how to use it was because he had been forced to learn how to use a whip along with other kinds of weapons.
Remi revealed that Prince Carlton had forced Remi to learn how to wield the whip when he was younger. His brother had told him that the whip was a good weapon to use against those who wished harm upon Remi without getting too close to them. Remi then mumbled something along the lines of how Carlton just didn't want him to stain his hands with filth- or something like that.
