On July 21, beneath a blood-red sky, a massive hand with razor-sharp claws stretched across the moon. On this day, a war between gods and devils erupted—and it was also the day our main character, Lighter Hikagami, was born.
Beside the newborn stood a woman cloaked in darkness, her wings shrouded in shadows. She was a devil, and as she held her child, tears streamed down her face. "My baby… he will die at the hands of the gods," she sobbed.
But then—suddenly—a surge of energy erupted from the infant, shaking the very dimension where the battle raged. The energy rippled across the universe itself.
In the sky, a god descended, preparing to strike down the child. But before he could, a blade pierced through him. Smoker Hikagami, Lighter's father, had struck mid-air. His expression was fierce as he wielded his magic—Thunder, Black, and Barrier Magic—abilities feared even among the devils.

Meanwhile, gods have access to all magic types but are weaker in raw strength. Aware of their inferiority, the gods cast a spell to suppress the power of devils, maintaining balance.

As Smoker attempted to seal a barrier within his son to stabilize his power, an overwhelming force threw everyone back. It was pure infinity.
His eyes widened in shock. "Are those… the Devil's Eyes and the God's Eyes?!" he muttered in fear.
A god, still determined to slay the child, unleashed a devastating bolt of Thunder Magic. But in an instant, the baby reversed it, copied it, and stole it.
Realizing the danger, Smoker combined Barrier Magic with his Thunder Magic, enhancing his speed. In a desperate act, he sealed his son's power within him—but at the cost of his own life.
With his last breath, he teleported Lighter to Earth, his heart heavy with sorrow. Soon after, his mother perished as well.
And thus, the legend of Lighter Hikagami began.
