Shenlian Yingyue and Huang Bai Xing exchanged a look.
"Are the people who cursed you still in the Twilight Forest?" Shenlian Yingyue asked.
"No, they went to another world already," the cursed spirits replied. "The people in the Twilight Forest are just the younger generation. They are not as strong as those people."
The cursed spirits didn't want to answer, but if they resisted and dared to play tricks, they would be done for sure.
"What will happen if I destroy this green smoke?" Huang Bai Xing asked, her expression unreadable.
"We won't die, and we won't be free either. We just have to 'suffer' again. It's worse than being beaten by you," the cursed spirits said, their tone laced with resentment.
If they had teeth, they would be gritting them now.
Shenlian Yingyue and Huang Bai Xing were unsure what this "suffer" referred to, but it didn't sound like a good thing.
