"Yes, I have, and erm... there are some issues, it's not much though."
Hearing Michael talk about having some issues at hand, Elaine couldn't help it when her heart skipped a beat. The thought of her secret coming out in the open is something she feared for.
With a stammering voice, she asked over the line. " can I know what's the issue you are talking about?"
"Just come over to the hotel first then I will let you know," Micheal said, a light smile tugging at his lips, he knew her heart must be racing by now at the suspense.
"Did..did you call the cops on me?" Elaine asked in a hushed tone, her voice was shivering.
"No, no way, why would I call the cops on you after you fed me such a nice meal this morning? I'm not that bad you know" Michael feigned being heartbroken by her words.
