Bando went through rigorous training, Bando shed blood, sweat, and tears. His muscles tore, expanded, and hardened. He learned the power of manipulating the wind using his insurmountable strength, his signature move was shooting a pressurized wind arrow by punching the air in front of him so hard. It wasn't sunshine and roses, Bando suffered, his legs even broke twice during his speed training.
Bando hated his life. It was as if the tortured would never end. As the years went by, Bando's training would become less and less difficult. Was it because he was becoming stronger? Perhaps. The other reason is that Kevib grew weak. Bando noticed his movements became less and less skillful as the years went by. But pain wasn't the only thing that Bando experienced during his time with Kevib.
Bando experiences happiness as well. Kevib lived a life of peace, he showed Bando all that life and nature had to offer. Bando saw Kevib as a father figure. Bando and his actual father never had the best relationship, he didn't pay much attention to Bando, only when his wife would ask him to watch over Bando or change his diapers. So for Bando to have a guy take care of him in this way was foreign. Bando didn't really mind the horrible struggle of training if he also experienced having a father.
"Bando." said Kevib
"Yes?" replied Bando
"I think it's time."
"Time for?"
Kevib and Bando hiked higher up the mountain that Kevib lived on and after an hour or so they arrived at a small plateau that looked over the mountain ranges in the distance. Bando didn't question why they hiked the whole way as he was immersed in the scenery that was provided. Kevib ordered Bando to stay in place, Kevib walked the other way, stopped, and turned around. Kevib put his fists up and challenged the boy in front of him.
"Bando. Give it your all." Exclaimed Kevib with a smirk.
"W-what?" He questioned.
"I have a feeling that you are ready. I need to see your strength in not just in training, but in a real battle."
"But…"
"Don't argue."
Bando confused, raised his fists out towards Kevib and assumed a stance. Many thoughts ran through his mind but agreed with Kevib, he needed to get real fighting experience to critique himself. Bando grew a smirk and assumed a confident stance. He knew how strong Kevib was so he knew this wasn't going to be anything like his training. A torch that was lit in between them grew tired and extinguished itself. Bando read the que and readied himself. They both bolted towards each other at a blazing speed.
