After this small little confrontation an awkward silence hung in the room.
Richard was to speak something when someone beat him to it.
Gary stated a bit forcefully, "But is is being said that you orchestrated the whole thing to garner sympathy and plot a justifiable reason to make a move against people you don't like."
Amden did not turned back to look towards Gary. He was now sure that Gary was being openly hostile with him and he was also sure that his relation with Alexa was not the reason. Though Richard was also a bit hostile he could see the reasoning in it. Alexa's mother had directly and openly supported his relation but Gary was different.
He replied with his back still facing Gary, "Rumours are rumours and certainly not a thing to be believed. And the second point you made about me making a move against people I don't like, with enough power everything is justifiable. I do not need to orchestrate such things and harm an innocent girl."
