Iris was calmly gazing at Luna from the ice pillar. Everybody's heart was beating in anticipation as they were waiting for the final showdown.
Soon dozens of swords and spears formed of ice appeared in the cage pointing towards Luna. Not a single blank spot remained Luna for to dodge but her face was still calm.
Under the control of Iris all the swords and spears moved towards Luna at fast pace. Luna then raised her sword and the moment it was pointed towards the sky, thunder started to crackle in the sky. The scene horrified everyone.
Many instructors of the academy immediately moved to form a shield to protect the audience from being harmed.
The thunder was intense and it appeared as if the heavens was angry. The moment the swords and the spears were about to collide with Luna, lightning struck from the sky.
All the spears, swords and even the cage of the uce was blown to smithereens. Even the stage cracked upon the impact and was filled with debris.
Finally after moments when the dust settled, both of them were still facing each other. Both their faces were pale as theri strikes had used almost all of theur mana reserve.
Seeing both standing the audience was awe struck at their powers. The explosion from tbe strik had shook up their cores when they were seating so far away but thede were standing in the centre of the explosion.
When Luna was contemplating about her last move Irsi spoke, "I give up."
Luna felt relieved.
Iris understood even if it was a small margin Luna was stronger than her. Although she had a few of her trump cards she didn't used, she believed Luna was also same hiding few of her strength. So she chose to gave up and descended the stage.
The refree immediately arrived on the stage and announced, "Luna wins. After one more hour the final match between Luna and Lucas will begin."
Hearing this audience loudly cheered. This had been an entertaining and shocking day so far and they couldn't wait Lucas to go all out agaisnt Luna. The fight between the two extreme genius.
Before the referee could continue Luna spoke, "There is no need for that. I can't win against him."
Hearing this everyone was surprised. Had they fought before? Do they know each other?
Before anyone could question Luna gazed towards where Lucas was seating, "Isn't it brother?"
Brother. Hearing this evenone was stunned. These two monstrous geniuses are sibling? Are they really commoners?
Lucas smiled, "Yes my little sister."
Luna wasn't lying. Although they didn't revealed their full powers, but if they both went all out, she knew, she can't defeat Lucas.
Hearing both their admission, there was nothing the crowd could do. The most interesting duel would never happen.
Referee reluctantly announced Lucas as the winner and informed that everyone would be awarded their prizes when the academy started after one month.
In the air Tamaya spoke, "You have gained a worthy disciple Snowfall. But these two are even more monstrous. The academy is surely going to intresting."
Snowfall chuckled but didn't spoke anything but only glanced in Amden's direction. She was waiting for the real monster to show up in the academy.
Slowly everyone left the arena.
The many organizations and families who wanted to recruit Luna and Lucas failed to find them. It was as if both of them disappeared in thin air. Although they also wanted to recruit Iris they dared not directly approach Iris, after which she was taken away by Miss Snowfall.
