This was a shock to everyone who knew Miss Snowfall. She was the one who mostly remained reclusive and didn't cared much about anything. Her taking in a personal disciple was something which caused a stir in peaceful waters.
Amden was watching everything with interest. He wanted to know if in reality Iris can go toe to toe with Lucas and Luna. He was now really anticipating for the match between them.
The middle aged man again appeared in mid air and announced, "Now we will have the final round. Since we have three candidates we will use the same rule as previous time. But the candidate who had already got an exemption will not got a exemption and must fight. The remaining two choose your tokens."
Luna didn't got an exemption she was the one confirmed to fight in this round.
Between Lucas and Iris, Lucas got the star token which meant he didn't need to fight.
The match was to happen between Iris and Luna. They were allowed an hour of rest.
While they were resting, the VIP seatings in the arean was in chaos. The chaos was about Miss Skyfall taking in a disciple.
25 years earlier she had suddenly appeared and was appointed as a grand elder of the Star Sky Academy. Although no one knew her real strength, everyone was sure of one thing that she was strong, very very strong.
The duel finally started. It was Luna vs Iris Lopez.
They both had same calm expression as usual but inside both knew this was a tough match.
Luna then retrieved her sword. Mind you for the whole competition she had not used any weapon. Following her Iris also retrieved a sword. Till now she had also not used any weapon.
Both of theirs weapon was nothing special and was of common grade. And then they moved at extremely fast pace but none used mana. Their sword clashed. No one between the two gained any advantage. Their movement continued and their swords kept clashing. It was a battle of pure physical power without any mana but still more exhilarating than any other previous battle.
Even members of the older generation were stunned seeing their control and skills with sword.
Theor clash of sword skills continued for few minutes. Then they finally separated and stood a few meters distance between them.
Now was the time for their second phase of battle. The crowd was cheering loudly and they were thrilled.
This time Iris was the first to move. She stepped forward and a pillar of ice rose under her feet and she soared in the sky using the pillar. Soon different branches emerged from the pillar and a majestic cage like structure was formed. And Luna stood right in the centre of the cage.
The audience was now stunned into the silence. Even the powerful and elites were shocked at this majestic structure. The control and amount of mana needed to build something like this was insane.
The expression on Luna was as calm as water. She was still standing their patiently. She knew that the real attack was yet to come.
Amden in his room was squinting his eyes. He knew this level of technique was not something of this planet. 'Who is she?', he wondered inwardly?
