It was time for the third match.
"Lomaro vs Luna," announced Vale hovering in the air.
Both of them leapt at the stage almost simultaneously facing each other. Lomaro stood against Luna with a haughty look on his face.
His behaviour was completely opposite of Kevin. Though both belonged to high tier families and had commoners as their opponent, Kevin had remained humble while Lomaro was full of arrogance.
Lomaro also had been mesmerized by Luna's beautiful face and thought of using his status and power to subdue the girl.
Though he seen Luna's ruthlessness in the battle royal, he merely considered it to be a fluke and some luck. According to him along with a majority of audience, Luna, as a commoner, would not have access to good cultivation and battle techniques. And in this round when the strength of top 10 should be almost on equal terms, higher grade techniques could be the deciding factor.
With a arrogant smirk plastered on his face, Lomaro began, "Girl, you are no doubt very strong. And beautiful. But this is where your journey will end."
"I have a better option for you though," he chuckled with the same arrogance. "Why don't you forfeit the match and follow me?"
Hearing the haughty words, Luna frowned. She wondered why everyone felt that she was desperately wanting some she could follow? First that idiot Tim and now this fellow.
Meanwhile, Tim who was watching the battle from below the stage felt extremely angry and displeased with Lomaro.
In his mind, he had already considered Luna as her maid, assistant or his plaything.
'I will deal with this bastard later,' he thought inwardly.
Luna in response to Lomaro's words did not say anything. She after a moment of thought let out a small smile.
Next moment, she lifted her hands and pressed her palm forward towards Lomaro's direction.
In front of the widened eyes of the audience, an enormous pillar of lightning element appeared behind her. The pillar was lying horizontally facing towards Lomaro. Its size was massive, almost 15 feet in length.
Her peak E Rank aura flooded the entire arena.
Her aura alone started to make people sitting close to the stage uncomfortable. Other participants below the stage also started to feel the pressure except one or two. Spiritual energy in her aura was so overwhelming and dense that even B Rank people started to get pressurised.

Amden sitting in his room shook his head with a small smile.
'This girl is going to grill the boy,' he muttered in his mind.
His parents sitting next to him were also in daze. They knew that Lucas and Luna were talented but they had never imagined her to be so powerful after few days of training.
Only if they knew that she was still holding back.
Tim below the stage gulped his saliva in fear. He shuddered remembering how arrogant he had acted in front of her. All his arrogance of his power had now faded and was replaced by deep anxiety.
He took few breaths to calm himself down and muttered slowly, "She is still a commoner and I am clove. I must take her under me anyhow."
All his thought about turning her into his plaything fading away. His only goal now was to make her his subordinate.

Meanwhile on the stage, Lomaro was terrified. He had no idea what to do. There was no way that he could come out alive if that pillar was launched at him.
Luna, on the other hand did not care about anything. She was not as humble as Lucas and was a bit brutal.
Although she would not kill Lomaro but to showcase some of her strength was a bit necessary.
With the smile on her face turning wide, she pressed her arms even further. Following the motion of her palms, the pillar of the light shot forward towards Lomaro at very fast pace.
The entire audience was stunned. They knew that Lomaro had no chance of surviving it. The lightning pillar would turn Lomaro into ashes.
At the last moment, Lomaro was in despair a wave of spiritual energy came by and the pillar of the lightning shattered.
The next moment a figure landed on the ground facing Luna. That man was Vale.
He faced Luna, his face stoic, "Girl, you are very cruel. Using such a heavy hand at this young age."

Rexon and Lily in the VIP room frowned hearing what and how Vale spoke.
They were not much surprised seeing Vale acting to save Lomaro. After all, Lomaro was among the top 10 students. But that was it. Saving someone from heavy injuries was his duty. The students were allowed to fight freely with their full strength without any worry.
But what angered them was his behaviour towards Luna. Disdain was clearly etched on Vale's face.
Even Luna felt speechless at Vale's behaviour.
