After a day of travel the group was nearing the mountain range. Once over the mountains they would be back in the lands of Pippy and the Rabe'. Pippy had expressed that she and her people had no intention of returning and that it was best just to keep traveling through. James wondered if there were other towns and villages with their people in this land but he didn't want to push her on the subject.
The previous days travel went off without a hitch. Not a single cloud in the sky and the sun brightly shined its heavily light down upon them. It was a great start to a long journey that would take them several weeks to complete. James had left strict instructions to his people to double the guard in Valoran and prepare for a battle. He had the foresight to see a possible ambush from the enemy, so he left several detachments of Valoran soldiers and Bakarti elves behind.
