The next few weeks went by with nothing much really happening, other than doing the usual bullshit the club asked me to do. With Thanksgiving approaching, the school gave everyone a four-day weekend. With Thursday to Sunday off, Alex and I considered going home for this holiday but decided against it this year. Instead, we went out to a local fancy restaurant and had a small dinner together.
With December, now here the weather got much colder and I am a fan of the colder weather, while Alex is not. Alex having grown up in LA is not used to the cold and is grumpier than usual for it, while I am thriving in the cold. The school days were getting longer, only because winter break was approaching and we planned on going home this break.
However, much to our disappointment the clubs were doing a small event the week before Christmas and winter vacation. Thankfully, we only had to help out the weekend before winter break. The clubs do a few things for community service every year, for several reasons. First being, it is required for the clubs to do several dozen hours of community service a year to stay a part of the school. Second, it helps the members later with getting into graduate school or certain jobs.
For this year, the Porcellian Club and the Bee Club will be doing a 'Toy Drive', which is donated to 'Toys For Tots'. They are an organization that gives donated toys to needy children around Christmas time, places like hospitals, orphanages, etc. Our Clubs will be hosting a Toy Drive at the Bee Club Cafee, while the Bee Club serves the drinks, our club will be trying to get people to donate.
Once again, the four of us come up with a poster to spread around school, while also spreading word, by word of mouth. After the first week of December, the poster was finally made and we all began posting it all around the campus. Plus we posted it in local businesses with their permission. We wanted as many people to donate as much as possible, regardless if they are a part of the school or not.
"So what are you guys doing winter break?" Alex asks Maya and Eric as we are walking around handing out posters or placing them anywhere we think is a good place.
"I'm gonna just hang out around here," Maya says with an emotionless face, but I can see hidden pain behind her eyes. For once instead of insulting his sister, Eric gives her a knowing look.
"Yeah, same," Eric says while his sister just gives him a glance of happiness before hiding it quickly.
"Oh, did you guys have any plans for being here?" Alex says noticing they aren't going home for a certain reason.
"Nope," Eric says shrugging while Maya, has a thoughtful look on her face now.
"Yeah, though I am sure they do something on campus for people who stay behind," Maya says and I nod my head, as in my past life they held small parties and get-togethers for students and teachers.
"I mean, if you guys want… Maybe you could come home with us," Alex says as to them surprising them.
"Yeah, my parents have more than enough room to house you guys," I say to them since I am sure my parents wouldn't mind especially since we have several guest rooms for when my extended family visits.
'Though I'm gonna have to check with them later,' I think to myself, making a mental note to text my Dad and Mom later.
"Sweet! That'd be great!" Eric says patting my shoulder, with his happy-go-lucky attitude, which grew on me. Eric may have a lot of flaws, but overall he is a great dude and friend. He is quickly rising to become my best friend.
"Are you guys sure? We don't want to–" Maya starts to say trying to be polite.
"We'd love to bring you guys home, plus we can show you around LA," Alex says as I nod my head with a reassuring smile to Maya.
"Uhm, then thanks for having us," Maya says with Eric already talking about all he wants to see and do while we are back in our hometown.
"Bro, are the women in LA, like super hot or is that just Hollywood fucking with me again?" Eric says to me in a hushed whisper as we keep walking around placing posters around campus and the local area nearby.
"Yeah, I guess… though I feel like you can find hot women anywhere. However, I am telling you now, that Alex's older sister is off limits," I say to Eric then give him a serious face at the second part.
"Alex has a sister!" Eric says in a hushed surprised tone making Maya and Alex stop gossiping for a second to look at Eric confused at his sudden outburst, but thankfully didn't hear him.
"Yeah, but I'm sure we told you that already," I say to him with a confused look trying to remember if we talked about it before.
"Nah, if you did I would have remembered," Eric says to me as I sigh and push his arm off my shoulder already knowing his reason as to why he'd remember.
"Two things bro! First, since you asked I won't mess with her. But! Second, all I'm saying is we could be brother inlaws if I did," Eric says to me with a chuckle while I just sigh at his antics.
"You are saying you'd marry Alex's sister?" I say to him since I know that is not what he meant, just more like hooking up with Haley.
"What! No!... Well, I don't know, maybe?" Eric says then thinks about it.
"What? I want to marry someone one day, just want to have my fun before I find that person," Eric says to me with a shrug, as I think of something to say then shake my head shrugging at him.
After a few hours, we finished putting up all the posters we could and then decided to go to a local restaurant to get lunch together. There we told Eric and Maya more about LA and our families. I sent a quick text to my Dad and Mom, who told me they wouldn't mind that two of my friends were coming back with us.
The next week or so, flew by, and my suspicion that the unknown woman on Holloween was Ms. Cathay only increased. Though it seems my extra attention to this horny milf only made her more bold in flirting with me. She let her hand linger on her mind longer than usual or bent over near me to give me a better view of her assets. Eric was loving it as he took full advantage of being next to me to enjoy the view, while Alex looked ready to fight our teacher.
Thankfully the weekend came and with our toy drive, we all met up at the Bee Club cafe. There we saw most of our club members talking with the two people who are a part of the Toys For Tots organization. They would be collecting the donations at the end of the day and sign a few papers that prove we did this event for both our clubs and members. Finally, the rest of the club members arrived for both clubs, with everyone ready for the day.
The Bee Club members along with Maya and Alex would be running the cafe and heavily suggesting to people to donate to the toy drive. The Porcellian Club would also be handing out coupons to anyone who donates to the Bee Club's cafe. Eric and I were in charge of standing outside in the cold along with Josh trying to get people to come inside to donate as they walked by. The Toy Drive mostly accepted toys as donations for obvious reasons, but also took cash donations.
"Why is it so fucking cold outside?!" Eric says while shivering and drinking his hot coffee trying to warm up. While Josh and I are just shrugs since we are doing much better than Eric.
"Probably because it is December and now considered winter time. Though that is just my thoughts," Josh says with sarcasm while rolling his eyes at Eric's complaints. I chuckle hearing Josh, while Eric just grunts at his sarcasm.
After a couple of hours of standing outside, we headed inside to switch out with a few of the other guys. Like that, we spent the rest of the day switching back and forth while trying to convince people who were walking by to go inside to donate. Though it seemed our posters and spreading the word helped, plus the Facebook posts from both Clubs helped spread the word.
By the end of the day, we received several hundred toy donations and several thousand dollars in donations too. The Toys For Tots people were very happy with the donations by the end of the day and happily signed the papers off for our clubs. With that, our clubs helped pack up the donations, before the truck came and drove them off to wherever.
Then the last few days of school came and went, though they were the slowest ever as even only thought about the winter vacation. However, the final exams we had, I passed with flying colors while Eric looked ready to die by the end of our last day. Alex was happy with herself feeling pleased after the exams ended and so did Maya.
"I thought the tests would never end!" Eric says after we leave our last class with Dr. Burke who was particularly staring at Eric and me on our last day. Her look was one of annoyance it seemed, though I can hope it was for only Eric and I was just in the crossfire.
"Maybe if you studied instead of trying to flirt with everyone you'd feel better," Maya says as Eric just rolls his eyes.
"We all have our strong suits, Eric's isn't for his vast intelligence but for his charisma," I say patting his shoulder while gives me a smile, that slowly morphs into a look of annoyance realizing I am making fun of him. While the two girls snicker at Eric's realization.
"Fuck you!" Eric says to me punching my shoulder as I chuckle with Eric grumbling to himself.
"Anyway, did you guys get your tickets finally?" Alex says changing the subject since tickets are always expensive this time of year and hard to acquire. Though the twins have connections and money very obviously, it shouldn't have been hard for them.
"Yeah, we got them yesterday," Maya says as she shows the two tickets, holding onto Eric's since she believes he would lose his.
"When can I get my ticket Mom?" Eric says sarcastically to his sister, Maya rolls her eyes hearing him.
"Tomorrow when we get to the airport," Maya says to Eric, who sighs heavily hearing her.
Saying our goodbyes, Alex and I head home where we finish packing up the few things we would need. Then Alex and I enjoyed our company for a few hours since we believed we wouldn't be getting too much alone time when we got back home. Waking up the next morning we meet the twins at the airport and all head to the check-in area together.
After going through security and checking in our bags, the headache of the airport was over and we finally boarded our plane. We all got first-class tickets since being rich is a great bonus, even though the flight is only a few hours. Alex and I say together, while the twins sat in the seats in front of us. I just prayed they wouldn't bicker the whole flight and we could have a relaxing flight home. About an hour after take-off, Eric switched seats with Alex so the women could be next to each other for a bit.
"So did you and Alex join the mile-high club yet?" Eric says to me right after sitting down next to me. I just stare at him with an incredulous look.
