In the kingdom of Umade, most of the people didn't actually knew their king because he never made any public appearances. some said it's because he was ugly, others said he despised the poor and commoners, some said he was a devil and only dine and wine with demons, others said he was sick and so on. the people of Umade kept speculating about their king who for sure was a supernatural being and the most powerful in powerful king in all the kingdoms. He was know to be fierce, strong, dangerous, rich and merciless. He was often referred to as a god. All the kings from other kingdoms feared him and never wanted to cross his part, some wanted to be in his good book because the kingdom of Umade was known to be the richest. most wealthy nobles and beautiful maidens from Umade were the envy of other kingdoms. they had the largest land and most beautiful buildings . Their army was the greatest, most rootlets and was never know to loose any battle.
Most women tried their best to go close to the kings palace just to have an idea on how he looks like but to no avail. Others through enquiries from the kings ministers try to see if they can prepare their daughters for the king but their efforts were fruitless. The king's ministers and general were often discreet and matters relating to the kingdom and so most people in Umade kept on wondering who their king really is. What they didn't know was that their king was a simple man who often move around like a commoner so they never noticed him.
Sabi "yes your highness" Sabi bowed to the king . he was the king most trusted savant and right-hand man. " you smiled at the princess earlier on. do you like her?" Sabi was a little taking aback as he rememberd what happened and he explained to his king that they bombed into each other and since he had so much negative things about her, he didn't want to add to her bad mood by being impolite and the king. hmm was just all he said.
Back in indawati kingdom, Zainab was disappointed as she didn't get to see the handsome man before he left. " I looked round mother but I didn't see him. I don't matter to him that is why he left without even saying goodbye" oh Zainab I don't want you to get your hopes high. he was just being polite with you because he bombed into you. Zainab understood but she thought it would be different just like the ones she reads in books. just as they were having a conversation, a maid walked in to inform Zainab that a begger was looking for her outside. that she had promised him food earlier and it downed on her as she had forgotten promising him food. It happened while the party was going on, a beger was trying to get inside the palace but the guards were mercilessly beating him so she intervained and promised him to wait outside that she would bring food for him but she forgot.
