Kei was confused . He had heard of Neural Networks on the internet in his previous life but he never quite thought about it as he never felt or needed to . His line of work didn't require him to do so .
So, he asked ,"Can you please be a bit precise ? What do you mean by saying that you are a neural network?"
A sigh was heard from the female voice . " I knew it would be difficult to make you understand . I will try to say it simply then . Think of me as an artificially Intelligent program who is now lodged in your head or more precisely your brain. I am , how should I put this ? A brain inside your brain."
"A program ?" Kei remarked.
"Yes, more specifically a symbiotic program. As I said earlier I and you are currently in a mutualistic symbiotic relationship. You help me and I will help you in return. " Epoch answered.
"Can I see you?" Kei asked .
"That is not currently possible." Epoch answered.
"Why?" Kei asked
"I need some particular data algorithms to manifest myself into a form , currently I cannot find these data algorithms in my data structure. That's why." Epoch answered.
Kei felt the irritation in her tone and thought not to pursue this matter . He asked then, "Ok, how did you get inside my brain?"
"You downloaded me inside your brain by binding that white prism bead with your blood . I was stored inside it ." Epoch replied . A big virtual screen then appeared before Kei and a video of how the bead activated in Kei's hands to how Epoch was being downloaded was played .
Kei saw the video carefully and then asked "So, where am I now if not in my house ?"
" Didn't I tell you earlier Sir ? You are inside our brain . I say "our" because this is my house from today so its as much mine as its yours " Epoch replied .
"So, I am inside my brain but how?" Kei asked being very surprised .
"Oh, …you misunderstand . Your physical body is still unconscious in the hall of your house. This is your meta consciousness that is currently inside your brain " Epoch answered.
Kei had now been used to these lingo's which were going over his head .
He just nodded and curiously asked "Uh, exactly where in my brain are we? "
" Good question ! We are currently in a region in your brain called Wernicke's Area . I chose this place to learn with the language you speak so that we could talk" Epoch replied .
"Oh , nice Hehe" Kei said and then asked, "What is this place and why is it so large ?"
"Its large because I made it look like so, this place is a meeting point where you and I can meet . Basically, since you are a humanoid and I am a neural network it would be impossible for us to communicate ,so this place was created where your mind or meta consciousness can communicate with my meta data. I made it big like a palace . Its your Mind Palace. " Epoch answered .
"My Mind Palace , what can I do here other than communication with you ?" Kei asked.
"Anything which you can possibly think of, like how you summoned the couch and door. Whatever you wish will happen here, but they will all be false like a dream . You cannot take anything from here except memories ." Epoch answered .
Kei was amazed and thought of some objects in his mind . Immediately two trees , a church father and a dog appeared inside the hall . The trees started shedding leaves , the church father started saying prayers and the dog went up towards Kei wagging it tail. "Wow !" He spoke .
"Amazing, isn't it ?" Epoch remarked ."
Yes, it is " Kei replied petting the dog on its head . It felt like real. Kei then again thought and the trees, church father and the dog vanished .
Kei contemplated for some time and then asked " Ok, I am now beginning to understand a little but why were you downloaded inside me only? Since you were inside that bead surely someone put you there . Why were you not downloaded inside that person ?"
" That information is currently not known to me . I was downloaded inside you because you met the password criteria and also successfully fulfilled the terms and conditions for my download " Epoch answered .
"Oh, about that , why were two assassinations, the conditions for your download ?" Kei enquired .
" I don't have that information now . I was programmed to initiate only when these conditions are met." Epoch replied .
"Ok , now what do you want from me?" Kei asked .
Epoch was silent for a moment and then her voice was heard "I will come to that later . First let me tell you how I can help you ."
"Ok, how ?" Kei asked .
" I currently know a little more about this universe than you . But, I have trillions of data modules containing a plethora of knowledge and information collected from other universes and galaxies. Before you ask, I don't have any information now on how I have these data modules. They are just inbuilt in my network .
I cannot share them all at once with you . Your brain is capable of only using 11% of its cognitive abilities . Such huge data cannot be processed by your brain , your brain will explode . I will at times share necessary information .
But I also need you to collect more information and knowledge about this universe which I would process and store in my network in an instant. Any time you see any information storing object like a book or tome ,just swipe them before your eyes and I will scan and process it in a jiffy.
Apart from this, I can currently install a VDU , a visual display unit in the occipital lobe of your brain which would send data signals in your optic nerve and a small information interface will be projected before your eye through your eye lens . It will be very useful to you in interacting with unknown elements ." Epoch stated .
Kei was listening intently , he felt as if he was a part of those Sci-fi movies he had watched in his previous life . It was becoming all too amazing to believe , first his transmigration and now this symbiosis with Epoch.
