Standing at the door of their room, Berry carefully watched Stuart, who was sitting on the bed with his legs outstretched as he typed away on his laptop. He had on gray sweatpants paired with an oversized sweatshirt that Berry had gotten for him the last time he went shopping with his grandmother. His hair was a bit on the disheveled side, as he wasn't going out today, and his expression was relaxed even as he worked.
He could not see anything wrong with Stuart, as his grandmother had said, but he couldn't dismiss her worries as mere speculations, so he had to check for himself, and hopefully, his grandmother was wrong.
Taking a deep breath, he raised his free hand and knocked on the door, even though it was already wide open and he didn't need to. When Stuart looked up at him, Berry showed him a bright smile before walking over and giving him the cup of tea he was holding. "For you," he said, helping Stuart remove the lid.
