In Chris's private kitchen, Berry was too busy baking a celebratory cake for Stuart and was unaware that his boyfriend was worried to death for him. Outside the kitchen, in Chris's office, the phone rang over and over again, and Chris, who was trying to work, was getting irritated by the noise. He would have gone to give the phone to Berry, but Berry had seriously warned him not to disturb him while he baked his cake, no matter what was happening, and Chris was prepared to be obedient. He wasn't scared of Berry; he just felt like doing as he asked.
