Stuart fell silent, not because he had no answer to this question, but because he had no idea what to say. She had been on a date with Kevin, countless dates with Kevin, but wouldn't that break Berry's heart if he hears this? This was their first date, and he didn't want them to have a bad memory of it.
"Why the sudden question?" he asked, snaking his slightly cold fingers into Berry's hair and massaging his scalp. It would really do both of them good if Berry could relax right now.
