"Stop the car," said Berry in his soft yet solemn voice. When he saw that Stuart was against it and wanted to refuse, he immediately said again, "you can't see anything with this amount of snow. Just stop the car and come sit with me," as he patted the empty space beside him. Stuart, certain that Berry wasn't going to drop this, stopped the car and did as he was told. He had a feeling that Berry had overheard the conversation he had with his parents.
'Of course he heard. We were not so quiet after all,' he thought.
