Hand in hand, the couple strolled down the sidewalk under the inky black sky, with the street lamps as their only source of light to aid their vision. When they stepped out of the cafe, it was quite surprising to see that the sun had disappeared, replaced by the moon and stars, forming a beautiful pattern in the sky.
Berry couldn't take his eyes off the sky, and full of smiles, he openly admitted his admiration for the stars to Stuart, who silently listened beside him. Now that Berry thought about it, he realized that he never really took his time to watch the stars and admire them, and now that he was out here, he regretted not doing this often.
Just walking and gazing up at the stars might seem like a simple action to pass the time, but to Berry, watching the twinkling stars had a calming and satisfying effect that made him think of taking a seat and staring up till his neck ached. But he knew that his worrywart of a boyfriend would be against it.
