Though he was flustered, having been caught by his family, Berry didn't feel remorseful one bit. If anything, he felt a sense of pride knowing that he did something that would make his boyfriend happy. Those fools had it coming when they brought up Stuart's termination.
"So what? It's not like I asked for anyone to be killed. I only sent enforcers, not assassins," Berry retorted confidently.
The other two men in the room were dumbfounded. Flynn even squinted, feeling embarrassed on Skyler's behalf. He really didn't understand how one man could be so dumb. He smacked Berry's head again, harder this time, earning him a glare that he ignored. "You are so lucky that we caught on in time before those enforcers reached every one of them. Do you know what would have happened if you had threatened everyone of them to vote for Stuart?"
