Chapter 10 - Dungeon Raid (4)

When Gil woke up, his mind became consumed with worry over Anderson and Elise's sudden disappearance. Yet, his concern wasn't solely rooted in their well-being but rather in how their absence might jeopardize his own safety. As he fully roused himself from sleep, his earlier suspicions resurfaced vividly.

A lurking intuition told Gil that their intentions might be up to no good. Urgency compelled him to rise swiftly and initiate a search for their whereabouts.

At the forefront of his mind was a notion that they could have ventured to confront the boss first, possibly with the covert motive of claiming his prized gun. Given the absence of any treasure along the way, he speculated that they might have coveted the gun for themselves. Such were his initial deductions. Yet, an indistinct feeling in his gut contested this theory.

Opting to place his faith in his instincts, Gil decided to retrace the precise route the group had traversed earlier.

And to his surprise, Gil found their whereabouts. As he strolled along, an unmistakable sound reached his ears, originating not too far from his position. It was a voice he knew all too well – a familiar, womanly voice.

"Ahhnn..."

The moment the sound registered, Gil found himself dumbfounded. His body involuntarily stiffened, and his countenance, once marked by concern, contorted into one of irritation. From the voice alone, he discerned that it belonged to Elise, and the implication behind it left him flabbergasted.

His teeth clenched, and a vein throbbed visibly on Gil's forehead. Swiftly, purposefully, he marched towards the source of the sound. As he suspected, his discovery was on point – a man and a woman engaged in thoroughly something indecent.

Lying eyes on Anderson and Elise in their compromising position, Gil gave way to an immediate eruption. "What the f*ck are you two doing?!"

Startled by an abrupt interruption, Anderson and Elise swiftly disentangled themselves, their actions born from surprise rather than willingness. However, as their eyes settled on Gil, a wave of relief washed over them, realizing it was him.

"Shit, I thought it was Lack," Anderson muttered in an undertone. Confronting their unexpected guest, he remarked, "Kid, weren't you taught not to stick your nose with the adult business?"

"What the hell are you talking about?!" Gil's frustration boiled over. "I thought something happened to you two for suddenly disappearing. But to find out you two are about to f*cking with each other inside a f*cking dungeon?! Are you both insane?!"

What Gil's meant to them was make sense. No one in their correct mind would have sex inside a dungeon full of monsters. While their relationship and personal desires were their own affair, Gil couldn't help but worry about the potential consequences of what they did. If monsters were to suddenly appear, their actions could inadvertently drag the entire party into a perilous situation.

Amidst Gil's outburst, Anderson's anger surged. "Shut your mouth, you damn brat. This is none of your business. Just go back already!"

"Ha?!" Gil retorted, his annoyance mirroring Anderson's response. It was painfully obvious that Anderson was the one at fault, yet he seemed completely indifferent to it. Anderson's audacious disregard for the situation further fueled Gil's irritation. Adding to the absurdity, Anderson hadn't even bothered to pull up his pants and remained shamelessly naked at the bottom.

"You want to get reported to the guild?" Gil fired back, his voice laced with a threat.

Anderson scoffed, seemingly unfazed. "Oh, you think I'm scared?"

Amidst the escalating argument, Elise had managed to fix her robe. She interjected herself between the quarreling duo.

"All right, guys. Let's stop here. Nothing good happens fighting here, okay?"

Upon realizing Elise had already restored her attire, Anderson protested with a crude comment. "Wait, are we stopping in the middle of things? After satisfying your needs, you're leaving me hanging?"

Elise's eyebrow twitched at Anderson's statement, her face contorted into disbelief and irritation. "What? Are you stupid? Gil is here."

"Then just send him back to the camp."

"He'll inform Lack, you imbecile."

Anderson shrugged off the concern. "Don't worry. Lack won't wake up that easily. He slept like a log. We can deal with that brat later when we're finished."

Elise's furrowed brow deepened, a hint of disgust creeping into her features upon hearing Anderson's response. Shaking her head in disbelief, she disregarded him and instead walked over to where Gil stood.

Frustrated by Elise's rejection, Anderson let out a muttered curse, "F*ck!" He begrudgingly pulled his pants back up.

Once Elise stood before Gil, she offered an apology, her expression contrite. "I'm sorry for our inappropriate behavior. You won't have to witness that again." Her words were accompanied by a reassuring smile.

Of course, this was a falsehood. The intention was to maintain a facade and prevent further complications. Elise then smoothly transitioned into her subsequent plea, "So, could you do us a favor and not inform Lack about this, please?"

Confusion painted Gil's features, and he inquired, "Huh, Why...?" He was on the brink of asking how this related to Lack.

But instantly, a recollection dawned upon him – something he had observed earlier. Lack held a deep admiration for Elise.

Gil clenched his teeth in frustration; the reason was painfully obvious. Anderson, whom Lack had respectfully addressed as Senpai, was involved in a relationship with the person Lack deeply admired – Elise. This situation mirrored a plot Gil was all too familiar with – a senior was fucking with the protagonist's crush behind his back, a classic NTR story.

"F*ck!" The expletive burst forth from Gil, startling Elise, who stood before him, puzzled by his sudden outburst.

"What's wro-?" Elise began, a concerned question on the tip of her tongue before Gil swiftly interrupted her.

"Shut up, you slut! You know that Lack like you, right, bitch? How can you do this to him?" Gil's words carried a mixture of anger and accusation.

Elise sighed upon hearing Gil's question. She understood the implication behind it, yet explaining that her motives were driven by her inclination for casual sex was a conversation she couldn't easily delve into. After all, in her perception, Gil was a young man, a kid, and unlikely to understand.

While Gil directed his curses at Elise, Anderson didn't remain passive. "You say what, you brat?! Aren't you taught manners by your parents?!" he shot back, his irritation visibly surfacing.

"Shut up. You f*ck face asshole." Gil shot back, unyielding. "You aren't different with this slut."

Anderson's face flushed with anger at the insult, a visible vein throbbing on his forehead. The urge to physically confront Gil surged within him. Still, before he could act, Elise intervened, halting their potential brawl.

"You two, like I said, this is not time to fight," Elise intervened firmly. She then turned her attention to Gil, finding a newfound reason to keep this incident from Lack. "Gil, you wanted to get your wand, right? So, please don't tell him about what happened. This can shake our team cohesion, understand?"

Gil's response was limited to gritting his teeth, unable to retort. Indeed, his principal objective centered on obtaining the game's premium gun.

Furthermore, considering the nature of Gil's relationship with the rest of the group, they were essentially strangers. Consequently, he lacked any valid reason to interfere in this matter.

Observing Gil's continued silence, Elise supplemented her earlier statement with added assurance, aiming to bring closure to the situation. "Rest assured, once this quest is over, I'll personally inform Lack about everything. Alright?"

A disapproving "Tsk" underscored his dissatisfaction as he turned away, departing from the scene and heading back to the camp.

As Gil walked away, Elise let out a contemplative sigh. "I thought he was just another student who enjoyed screwing around. I never expected him to be such a tender soul," she mused softly. Despite her musings, she couldn't deny her intrigue, drawn to the uniqueness she saw in him. An enigmatic smile, suggestive in nature, tugged at the corners of her lips as she watched Gil's retreating figure.
