Chapter 33 - problems that keep on stacking

A. Rectangular structure armed in a durable body capable of traveling from one space to another inside of it treasures beyond your wildest dreams. One can only hope that it doesn't get stolen from you before you have the chance to receive its blessings. There are many names for this object but the most common and popular one is a package to add substance to your problems. You started off today at around 7. :00 apparently you've gotten way too many days off on your employee backlog the manager didn't like that so he insisted in a really strong tone that you use them or lose them not wanting to lose the privilege. You of course took the points. And of course you had today perfectly mapped out. Or at least it should have been 6:00. You hear a ringing at the doorbell answering it because Nicole never does. You find a package with your name on it. Inside are leather handcuffs. You of course don't remember ordering them. So you go on to your online marketing account to check to see what's going on. Only to find that your mom used your credit card to order them under your name. You can't even be getting to describe how messed up that is, but if that's not all, the fridge has been making a weird noise lately. You want to get it fixed, but Nicole says that that model is very old and that you'll probably need to buy a new one which is currently outside your budget. But of course that's not all. Since yesterday, your brother has been asleep on the floor drunk as hell you want to kick him out. But after the whole thing with borrowing his work uniform, you'd rather soften the blow as much as possible. Should it come back to haunt you? What a different Note! Your apartment has recently seen an increase in lack of cleanliness. Originally it was just two dishes in the sink and your clothes scattered everywhere. Now there is even more clothes scattered everywhere. A lot more dishes in the sink and for some reason there's a bowl full of ice cubes sitting in the middle of the table and the fact that that was there yesterday makes you can think that it's dry ice, which makes you wonder when did you buy dry ice? With all of this going through your head, you try to put yourself on track first texting your mother, the a series of insults that begin with calling her out of her name, followed by insulting the fact that she's a horrible mother and then pointing out that her package is here and to stop using your account. Crossing that off your list. You try to get your things together today. Your plan is to go out. Get your glasses refitted and get new contact lens as well as get a haircut. Your hair's been getting a lot longer lately. You don't think you pull off hole down to your shoulders. Look so you occasionally get it trend so that it's not too short yet. Not too long on another thing on the agenda is picking up some food for the piranhas. The Dave's keep multiplying and you're not sure why. At this point you have 12 of them. And another thing on your agenda you got to change the oil in the truck. You don't use it considering the problems with your license, but occasionally you lend it out to Mackenzie who gives you money to take care of the cars he needs, but you just can't find the time to actually take the car out and get them taken care of. As far as things that you have to do with the car goes, get the back seats vacuumed out. Fill the tires with air. Get the oil changed and fill it up with Cass. Of course you don't feel confident driving that thing. In fact, you fear every time you come near it. You lament the fact that you have the vehicle in the first place as you're grabbing your phone to get ready to go as well as locating the keys. You noticed that you've received a text. It's from Mackenzie. There's also another one from a certain individual who's recently decided to drop all charges against you. You're going to ignore that for now. According to the Mackenzie text though, she says that she's outside waiting for you. You can't figure out for the life of you why she would be outside scrolling up. It looks like a message was sent from your phone. The information provided reads as followed. Hr got a day off rare for me. Been awhile since the last time. Me and you got in the truck. Just the two of us. Still not sure how I feel about moving in with you, but let's spend the day together πŸ™‚ seeing this text you get the feeling that either you or Nicole sent this while you were inebriated last night. You feel like you should break your phone and give that as an excuse. Today is the worst possible day for you to lose so much daylight freaking out over spending time with MacKenzie. So instead you come up with a simple strategy. You say something came up. You're sorry. You'll hang out with her later and then you run. You run like hell while constantly apologizing for lying in your head and never bringing it up for years to come after pulling yourself together, you write a note for Nicole. Giving her instructions of things she should be doing today because you know very well that if you don't write these down she's going to do nothing. Then you ready your backpack and head downstairs with the car keys and phone in hand. The moment you just send The apartment stairs you repeat to yourself your mantra. I'm sorry I cannot hang out with you. I have some place else to be. Today is what you keep saying in your head repeating this mantra you finally reach the bottom floor with the parking lot in view walking out you notice Mackenzie sitting on the hood of your vehicle waiting for you wearing a bikers outfit and sunglasses and your hair is tied up and you suddenly feel entranced and wanting to tell her she can do anything to you and the next thing you know you forgot the thing you wanted to say to her focusing you try. Remember you have to refuse her. Otherwise you'll lose the day fighting the urge to give in to her. You keep repeating your mantra walking ever so close and the movement. You're right in front of her. She notices you you. Of course greet her asking her if she waited long. Of course she tells you that you didn't have to wait much at all. And would you try to tell her what you practice in your head multiple times you find that she counters with the words that could slay any form of? Will you you think you have against her in the most casual tone ever? She says she's glad that you invited her out. Frankly speaking, she's been meaning to buy new clothes, especially unmentionables in that moment your mind starts racing hundreds if not thousands of miles per hour. The moment you snap out of it, you find that the two of you are already in the car and she's driving and you're heading to Shangri-La.
