Chapter 6 - CHAPTER 6: A Mother's Sacrifice: Farewell to Karna and New path

As the first rays of dawn gently caress the forest, Kunti feels a heaviness in her heart that she cannot bear. She knows that today is the day she must part with her beloved Karna, the divine avatar of Lord Shiva. Her steps feel heavy as she walks towards the sacred river Ganga, her mind torn between duty and maternal love.

Kunti (whispers tearfully): Oh, Karna, my precious child, how can I do this? (She looks at Karna's innocent face, sleeping peacefully) You are the very essence of divinity, a gift from the gods themselves.

Priyamvada (softly): Kunti, my dear friend, I can see the pain in your eyes. But remember, Karna's destiny is intertwined with the cosmic design. You are chosen for a greater purpose, and your sacrifice will shape the course of history.

Kunti (choking back tears): I know, Priyamvada, but it feels like my heart is being torn apart. How can a mother abandon her own child, no matter the reason?

Priyamvada (holds Kunti's hand): It's a sacrifice borne out of love and devotion, Kunti. Your love will protect him, even in the face of adversity. Trust in the divine plan, and have faith that Karna's path is guided by the gods themselves.

Kunti (sobs): But how will he understand? He's just an innocent child. He won't know why I'm leaving him here.

Priyamvada (comforting): The gods will watch over him, Kunti. He carries the wisdom of Mahadev within him; he will come to understand his purpose in time.

Kunti (whispers to Karna): My dearest Karna, forgive me for what I must do. It is for your own destiny, for the greater good.

Karna (opens his eyes, looking at his mother with understanding): gazes at her lovingly

Kunti (teary-eyed): You understand, don't you, my child? (Karna reaches out and touches her face) Your touch, your smile, they bring me both joy and sorrow.

Karna (smiles gently): comforts her with his touch

Kunti (whispers): My little ray of light, my brave warrior. (She places a kiss on his forehead) Remember always that you are loved beyond measure.

Priyamvada (wiping her own tears): It's time, Kunti. The river awaits, and the gods are watching over us.

Kunti (holds Karna close for one last time): Farewell, my beloved son. May the gods guide and protect you always.

As the tears flow freely down her cheeks, Kunti gently places Karna in a beautifully adorned cradle and sets it afloat on the sacred waters of the Ganga. Her heart breaks as she watches the cradle drift away, carrying her divine child towards an unknown future.

Kunti (whispers): Go with the blessings of Mahadev, my Karna. Fulfill your destiny with courage and righteousness.

Priyamvada (putting her arm around Kunti): He will be watched over, Kunti. The gods will ensure his safety and guide him on his journey.

Kunti (with a heavy heart): I know, Priyamvada. But the pain of this parting will linger in my soul forever.

Priyamvada (embracing her): Your sacrifice will be remembered throughout time, Kunti. Your love for Karna will be etched in the annals of history.

As the cradle carrying Karna slowly disappears from sight, Kunti collapses to her knees, overcome with grief. Priyamvada holds her close, offering her silent support and understanding.

The forest remains hushed, as if mourning alongside Kunti for the loss of a mother's embrace. But in the silence, there is a divine presence, a feeling that Karna's journey has just begun, and he is destined for greatness.

As the sun rises higher in the sky, Kunti and Priyamvada return to their home, their hearts heavy but filled with the knowledge that their sacrifice serves a higher purpose. And as they go about their day, they carry with them the memory of Karna, the divine child born of Mahadev, whose destiny will shape the course of history.

IN RIVER GANGA:

As Karna's golden kavasam emerges to protect him, Goddess Ganga, witnessing her beloved Lord Shiva in the form of a child floating on her sacred waters, feels a surge of divine love and compassion. She gently cradles Karna in her arms, her motherly instincts taking over.

Goddess Ganga (softly): Oh, my Lord, my beloved Mahadev, how can I resist your divine presence in this precious child? (She caresses Karna's cheeks) You are a reflection of the eternal light, and I shall protect you with all my heart.

Karna (giggles): playfully splashes water with his tiny hands

Goddess Ganga (smiling): (lightly splashes water back) Oh, you mischievous little one! Your laughter fills my heart with joy.

Karna (curiously): gazes at her with innocent eyes

Goddess Ganga (whispers): Your eyes hold the wisdom of the ages, dear child. You are destined for greatness, and I shall be your guiding river, nurturing you with my waters.

As Karna gazes at Goddess Ganga with curiosity, she gently rocks him in her arms, singing a soothing lullaby that echoes through the forest. The animals and birds are drawn to this divine moment, sensing the presence of their Lord in the form of Karna.

Goddess Ganga (singing): "Hush now, little one, the world awaits your grace. Sleep now, my precious child, in the warmth of my embrace."

Karna (yawns): (rests his head against her)

Goddess Ganga (whispers): (continues singing softly) "You are born of the divine, a beacon in the night. The river of time shall carry you to your destiny's height."

Karna's eyelids grow heavy, and he drifts into a peaceful slumber, cradled in the arms of the goddess herself. The animals and birds watch in awe, feeling the divine energy that surrounds them.

Goddess Ganga (whispers to Karna): Rest now, my Lord, rest. I shall carry you on my waters, protecting you always.

As the divine child sleeps, the river Ganga gently carries him downstream, under the watchful gaze of the gods and goddesses. The forest and its creatures seem to bow in reverence to the divine presence they feel in Karna.

Goddess Ganga (whispers to the forest): Fear not, dear creatures of the wild. This child is blessed by the gods themselves. He shall fulfill a higher purpose, and his journey shall be guided by the divine.

The animals and birds nod, as if understanding the sacredness of this moment. They continue to follow the course of the river, witnessing the grace of the goddess as she carries Karna towards his destiny.

As the day passes, the golden rays of the setting sun bathe the river Ganga in a warm glow. Karna stirs from his slumber, feeling the divine energy of the river surrounding him.

Goddess Ganga (smiling): (whispers) Awake now, little one. Your journey has only just begun.

Karna (coos): (gazing at her with affection)

Goddess Ganga (softly): (places a gentle kiss on his forehead) You are safe, my Lord. The river of life shall carry you towards your destiny.

Karna (gurgles): reaches out to touch the water

Goddess Ganga (playfully): (lets him touch the water) Ah, the river embraces you, my divine child.

As the river gently carries Karna forward, Goddess Ganga watches over him with motherly love and protection. She knows that the gods have a grand plan for him, and she is honored to be a part of it.

Goddess Ganga (whispers): Go forth, my Lord, with the blessings of the divine. Your journey will be filled with challenges and triumphs, but know that you are never alone.

Karna (smiles): reaches out towards the sun, as if embracing its warmth

Goddess Ganga (whispers): The gods watch over you, and I, the river of life, shall carry you on your sacred path.

As the golden hues of dusk envelop the world, Karna, the divine child born of Lord Shiva, floats on the river Ganga, embraced and protected by the loving arms of the goddess herself. The animals and birds continue to follow, feeling the divinity that surrounds them.
