✵ PART THREE ✵

Cultures and Races:

𝐇𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐬

Natives of Liennex, these humans that were created by the Gods. Though physically weak, they are plentiful and diligent and use their gift of magic to slowly expand their territory across Haven. Humans are ruled by the Adler royal family, the descendants of the God's chosen hero in the war against the Devils.

𝐁𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧

The oldest known race of Liennex, their dominion that of the vast desert to the west. Extremely hostile to humans. It is only known that they have been on Haven for as long as, or if not longer, than the Gods. The Beast King, an opponent even the Gods dare not face, has maintained his position of the emperor of the sands for thousands of years.

𝐃𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐬

A group of various races joined together in Haven's eastern region. Once considered a nonentity due to their lack of cohesion, resources, and central government this has since changed with the arrival of a so-called elusive Demon King.

It is said that this Demon King is the result of interference from the Devils on the world; if true, this would be an act of cunning previously unseen even during the great war.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐝

Humans from Earth were brought to Haven by a freak magic accident. Intending to summon an otherworldly hero to combat the growing threat of the Demon King, something happened in the process which expanded the spell's range from one to one-hundred thousand. It is still not known what caused this.

Due to life lived under Earth's gravity, they are two and a half times stronger than a native Liennex human. Some few have the capacity for magic, while others are able to use aura, or qi, to strengthen their bodies to unbelievable realms of power. This trait is something that, in the past, only the Beastmen and demons were gifted with. It is currently unknown why the Summoned are able to use this ability.

𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐬

An ancient and mysterious people long departed from the world of Liennex. Some scholars argue that the ruins that dot the landscape were created by an advanced culture of Beastmen that lost themselves to their barbaric tendencies. Others believe it was another race altogether, their ruins the only reminder of their enigmatic existence. Either way, great artifacts, and deadly creatures can be found within the Precursors' ruins, available for plunder by only Haven's brightest and best.

But with all the power contained within these ancient places, many wonder what became of the Precursors and what their involvement was in shaping Liennex as it is today.
