The next day, Mylar woke up early and took her bath, then got ready putting on a casual outfit of a plain white shirt tucked into a black navy high-waist designer pants with buttons. A black six inches heels, a small white crossbody purse for her phone and spare keys and her human hair with glueless lace frontal in a braided ponytail hairstyle.
She applied a light makeup and checked herself out one more time in the mirror before picking up her documents and going out the door.
She wanted to call Jaden and inform him about her new job but he wasn't picking his call, she hoped it wasn't about their little argument about work last night because she still went to the club even after whatever he said.
She got to the bus station and sat down on the bench to wait for the bus, she was a little early.
Argh!! Diego produced a sonorous sound as he woke up the next morning. He was extremely tired and weak, his mouth was dry, he was thirsty.
As he turned around, his eyes was hurt by the lights which came through the curtains on the large glass window and so he quickly covered his face with his hands and turned away from the sun rays.
Ahhh!! That damn sun! He complained as he turned and started getting irritated.
He tried to get up but was gripped by a terrible stomach pain, he was also held back by the sharp pain he felt in his head, this made him to start sweating.
He slowly moved towards the landline on his bedside table, he dialed the number 995234672...
"Make me something for my hangover and get it to my room now." He said and dropped the telephone receiver on the phone bass, he the laid back on the bed.
The bus finally arrived and a few people alighted making room for the ones waiting to get on. Mylar grabbed a seat closed to the window and laid back on it, she brought out her phone to see if there was any messages from Jaden but there was none.
"Man, you can't keep making that poor girl wait for a reply." Said a white skin, strong masculine man probably a trainer to Jaden who was busy helping out a woman in her sixties to work-out on a treadmill.
Jaden has been upset all night and all morning by what Mylar said to him about her job. Thinking about when his friends might ask him what his girlfriend does for a living and he would have no choice than to tell them that she is a stripper was most upsetting.
It just didn't feel like a job to be proud of but Mylar didn't understand him despite what he said to her.
"Instead she insulted my job." Jaden complained to his friend.
"You do know that she has been doing that job for a long time and she won't just quit out of the bloom because you asked her to." His friend said and sighed, then continued talking again.
"Jaden, no one wants a man or woman that comes into one's life and changes everything about it drastically. You need to chirped in your ideas and opinions little by little until they see the benefits in what you are trying to pass across."
"How long does she need to see the benefits Caleb?" Jaden asked and Caleb replied.
"For as long as she desires, Jaden.
Remember that this was the same thing that upset your wife that day she left the house."
"Are you still blaming me for her death?" Jaden asked getting upset.
"You should answer that question yourself." Caleb said and went away to attend to a customer.
Sir! Diego heard someone call from the door and the person said.
"I am here with the soup, for your hangover."
"Come in." He said to the person and Helena came in carrying a bowl of soup on a sliver tray.
"Does the old man know about my hangover?" Diego asked her after drinking the entire content in the bowl.
"I am not sure sir." Helena replied and picked up the tray but he stopped her in her tracks with what he said next.
"Don't make me such bitter soup next time or I'll make you pay for it." He said again.
"And get someone to clean up this room quickly." She nodded without turning around and hurriedly went out of his room.
Mylar arrived in front of a huge mansion completely built with glass or probably, that's what she felt.
A shinny glass mansion that contains a single door to the outside allowing good airflow with a three level pool, one on the roof of the top floor, another in the center of the first floor which was also the main living room and the third in Mr. Mateo Wylder's room which is on the third floor.
"I wish I can live here one day." Mylar said to herself as her jaw dropped at the sight and she could hear beautiful Opera playing in her ears.
Hello! She heard someone say to her and she greeted back quickly after she was brought back to reality.
"Are you here to see someone?" The lady asked and Mylar replied.
"I am from the agency."
"Oh, Miss Liliana sent you, right?" The lady asked and Mylar replied.
"Yes."
"Thank goodness you are here. I will need you to clean the young master's bedroom." The lady said and walked ahead, when she noticed Mylar wasn't coming after her, she said.
"What are you waiting for? Come along, I will show you around as we go inside." And Mylar nodded.
As she walked in escorted by the lady, her eyes were immediately drawn to the gas fireplace next to the blue accent wall which was so beautiful and worth staring at.
A formal dinning area could be seen on the right and a gourmet kitchen opposite it with sub-Zero and wolf appliances.
They walked through a large hallway into another living room with a separate bar area and a pantry with beverage cooler.
They passed through an office with built-in windows and a huge shelves with all soughts of books arranged neatly on it and got into the elevator, the young miss escorting her pressed the number four button which took them to the fourth floor.
As they got out from the elevator, they walked on a large bridge connecting to a music room with an acoustic ceiling. Considering all the lady said to Mylar, she guessed the number of rooms in the mansion and they were twelve in total and the mansion had four floors all together.
There were two rooms on the first floor with a living room, kitchen, dinning area, a bathroom with a seating area and an office. The second floor has two rooms as well with a living room, a bathroom with a standalone tub and a gym.
The third floor also has two rooms, a living room, a TV room, a recording studio and a bathroom with a walk-in shower.
The fourth floor has two rooms, a mini living room, a game room, the music room, a bathroom with a double sink and stairs that leads to the pool area on the roof.
The lady walked ahead of Mylar and knocked on one of the doors of the two rooms.
"Go away."
"Sir, it's me Helena, I have brought the person who will clean your room." Helena said her voice a bit shaky, she was always so scared of young master as she fondly calls him when she saw him hit a lady on the face with his shoe and so she avoids him at every opportunity she gets.
"Asked the whoever it is to come in and you should leave my door immediately." Diego yelled at her.
"I will leave you to it." Helena said and before she left, she whispered to Mylar.
"Be careful, he's a bit crazy."
"Crazy my foot." Mylar said with a smile and then scoffed.
She pushed the door open and went inside.
"Where do you plan on having your birthday for this year?" Asked Mr. Oliver George and Mr. Mateo replied as he scrolled through his laptop.
"I am not really interested in having a birthday party this year. What I really want this year is to get my useless grandson to become useful by getting him married to a good girl."
"I am sure you will find that girl sooner than you are expecting. I heard you are arranging different dates for him." Mr. Oliver said with a smile.
"Yes but that stupid boy keeps ruining every date. Infact today, his date refused to meet up with him saying that she has rejected him even before she sees him because of what she has read and heard about him." Mr. Mateo said sadly and Mr. Oliver spoke encouraging words.
"Don't worry. The Lord will see you through."
"Or would you rather get yourself a young girl and run away with her from all your worries and pain?" Mr. Oliver asked suddenly and they both started laughing.
"You are impossible." Mr. Mateo said to him still laughing.
