Nadia was startled; she suddenly felt the atmosphere in the room change, and before she could comprehend what was happening, an energy enveloped her and began to dominate her. "This sensation," thought Nadia, and she quickly glanced at Lawrence who seemed to be laughing at his pad, oblivious to the change.
"It's not him," Nadia concluded and then turned to Jaime, sitting in front of them. Jaime had his face covered, but between the gaps in his fingers, sharp eyes were fixated on Lawrence, a sight that unnerved Nadia. Unlike the usual jovial Jaime, his entire presence now radiated an intimidating aura. Suddenly, Nadia felt like the energy was making her float.
