Kari led the pair out of the room where they'd had their interrogation.
Statues and potted plants dotted the halls. Michiru wasn't sure if he'd seen so much marble or stone in one place. Back on Sotalia, there were simple wooden structures outside. They were a pain to upkeep out in the elements. If Mom had a flare-up, Dad would have to do it, so she wouldn't get worse.
The trio ventured out into a large, open room.
Michi furrowed his eyebrows. "What's with this broken crown?"
Madi hummed, "Not sure. Never heard anything about it. Could belong to a local saint."
Kari folded her arms. "If I'm not mistaken, Ed said this crown belonged to an old queen from before the four nations of this world were made."
Madi gasped. "Wait, you mean Grenada?"
The tiny lady nodded.
"Wow..." Madi's eyes got big. "Mom used to read to me stories about her when I was little."
"So, what happened to this queen?" Michi asked.
