His mom ran over and threw her arms around him.
Michiru blinked and went stiff.
Madi patted his shoulder. "Relax."
"N-need help with all that?" Michiru managed to blurt out.
Ren smiled and handed her stuff over to him. "Thanks, sweetie! That's very kind of you!"
Michiru blushed and Ren led him inside.
"You're a good boy." Madi said softly as they followed behind them.
Michiru swallowed and nodded, he couldn't think of anything to say to that.
He set everything down in the kitchen and Ren turned to him with a smile.
"Thanks again for helping me, dear." She kissed his cheek and Michiru froze up again. He could hear Madi chuckling behind him. Ren beamed at him then grabbed some of the groceries and started putting them away. "I'm making your favorite tonight! I hope you'll stay for dinner."
Michiru managed another nod. He didn't want to leave anyway. His mama looked so happy to have him there.
