Betty walked into the living room. Zeke was with Noah and his cousins. They were sitting in front of the television, watching a different show. She didn't think Zeke knew what show it was, but he didn't ask.
"What do you boys want for breakfast?"
"Yeah! Strawberry pancakes!" the Monkeys said, jumping up and down on the sofa.
Betty turned to Noah.
"Eggs?"
"Alright." Betty furrowed her eyebrows. "Hmm, I should probably go ask that oaf what he wants."
"Oaf?" Zeke asked.
Noah chuckled. "Del."
Betty nodded. It's possible he might not be hungry. He's had a small appetite as of late.
"Del broke," the Monkeys said.
Zeke furrowed his eyebrows.
The twins looked at Zeke. "He always used to eat a lot!"
Betty sighed. "Yeah. That's why I'm worried about him. I might have to force him to eat. Although, I don't want to resort to that."
Zeke averted his gaze. "How would you even do that?"
