Cole sighed as he walked toward the place where he was going to paint the mural.
He should apologize to Cy after he got home. He loved eating her food, but he let the time get away from him. Not to mention, he didn't want to waste her time or efforts. When he had a long project like this, his nerves usually didn't let him eat.
He didn't know why or when it started, but it was what it was.
What could he ask Cy to make? He didn't want to be greedy, but she wouldn't think twice about making a trip to the grocery store just to buy the ingredients for what he wanted.
As Cole continued walking towards the mural site, his thoughts were consumed by the need to make amends with Cy. The guilt gnawed at him for letting time slip away and neglecting to appreciate her efforts in preparing meals for him. A deep breath escaped his lips as he mulled over how to approach the apology.
