"What do you want to eat today?"
Kari asked her grandson as he fiddled with machines.
He kept his eyes on his handywork, prompting Kari to have to speak up and repeat herself. "Enji! I asked, what would you like to eat?"
"Would you like a sandwich?" Cyan asked.
"Tuna," En said, turning back to his machine.
"Does this kid eat anything else?" Cole asked.
"Tuna is good," En said.
"Yeah, but like is that all you eat? I mean, I like egg salad sandwiches, but I don't eat them all the time."
En turned his head away. Like he had to explain himself to a stranger.
Cy sighed. "It's okay. We'll make you some tuna."
Kari hummed. "Cole isn't wrong. Although, I know it's useless to try to convince you of it."
