***Raymond***
Raymond followed his papa and Uncle Joshua into an empty conference room. They didn't seem to like each other; they were glaring at each other. Raymond was surprised they didn't get into more arguments.
"Would you kindly explain why you dragged me out of there?" Uncle Joshua asked.
"What the boy wants to wear isn't that important. We should avoid upsetting him too much while we're trying to earn his trust."
"Teenagers love to be defiant."
This might go on if Raymond didn't say anything…
"Papa, can I ask a question?"
He put on a smile for Raymond. "What is it, son?"
"Why did that boy act like that?"
"I would say it has to do with likely trauma from what he went through, but I suspect Joshua has other ideas."
"The boy is autistic."
Papa raised his eyebrows. "How could you know that after ten minutes with him?"
"Autistic?" Raymond asked.
