Early in the morning, Jiang Yi and Yang Liu were already up and had washed up.
Wen Ruofei, however, slept until the sun was high in the sky, and just as Jiang Yi and Yang Liu were about to leave for class,
Wen Ruofei, who had chased drama series late into the night, said hazily, "Yang Liu, can you ask for a leave for me? Just say I'm sick."
Yang Liu said out of habit, "Got it."
Jiang Yi glanced at her but didn't say anything.
On the way to the main academic building, Jiang Yi asked Yang Liu, "Does she always treat you like this?"
Yang Liu, while yawning, responded, "Ah, it's nothing, I've gotten used to it."
But Jiang Yi retorted, "It's precisely because you always make concessions and tolerate her that she takes inch by inch."
Hearing Jiang Yi say this, Yang Liu began to feel a bit wronged.
"But what can I do? We live in the same dorm, we see each other all the time, it's not great to make things too stiff," she said.
