"Come with me."
Zhou Zimu took Jiang Yi's arm and started walking towards a secluded spot.
Jiang Yi was dragged along for a few steps before snapping to her senses and shaking off his grip forcefully.
Zhou Zimu turned around, looking at her with a bewildered expression, "Jiang Yi, stop making trouble. This is not a place for you. Leave here quickly. Qianqian doesn't want to see you always showing up in front of me. She will get jealous."
Jiang Yi clenched her teeth in anger, trying to calm herself, then said, "Zhou Zimu, are you sick in the head or what? Have you gotten a sense of superiority from living off a woman? Is this racetrack opened just for you two? She feels unhappy and then nobody is allowed to come? Having a rich uncle makes you so great, is that it?"
"Jiang Yi, don't go too far!" Zhou Zimu warned her in a lowered voice.
Jiang Yi let out a sarcastic laugh, "I am going to be just that excessive, what about it? Are you afraid that the crybaby will run to her uncle and whine, and he won't acknowledge you as his niece's husband?"
"Have you had enough of this nonsense! When did you become so unreasonable?"
This accusation of being unreasonable stung Jiang Yi deeply. During their three years of relationship, no matter how capriciously she acted, Zhou Zimu had never harshly called her unreasonable. Clearly, she was the one being bullied by both of them, so how did it end up being her fault?
As long as that woman cried, he would feel sorry for her. That woman could brazenly steal her boyfriend and yet it was her who was being unreasonable.
Even though Jiang Yi felt like crying at that moment, she held her head high, clenching her teeth to prevent the tears from falling, for showing weakness in front of a scumbag would be truly contemptible.
"Jiang Yi, why have you been away for so long?"
A man's voice came from behind her.
Jiang Yi did not recognize the voice but felt it was somewhat familiar.
Before she could turn around, Zhou Zimu had already stepped past her to greet the man.
He had replaced his angry face with a sycophantic smile, warmly extending his hand to the man behind Jiang Yi, "Hello, I'm Zhou Zimu, Qianqian's boyfriend. I never imagined I'd meet you here; before it was only on TV..."
Jiang Yi turned around and was startled to see the man standing behind her.
Wen Suihan, tall and handsome, stood before her eyes. He was casually pocketing one hand while holding a cell phone in the other, his gaze solely on Jiang Yi's aggrieved face, showing no intention of shaking hands with Zhou Zimu.
Jiang Yi was momentarily at a loss. She only knew her Grandfather called him "Xiao Han," but she couldn't guess the identity of this "Xiao Han" who could make Zhou Zimu approach respectfully to exchange pleasantries.
Wen Suihan ignored Zhou Zimu's outstretched hand, walking straight towards Jiang Yi and said with a smile, "Let's go back, your Grandfather must be getting anxious."
Jiang Yi stared at him blankly, unable to speak, an unexplained warmth of grievance welling up inside her.
Wen Suihan gently placed his hand on her shoulder, as if an elder was embracing a younger relative, and led her inside.
Watching the pair leave, Zhou Zimu was still standing there, dumbfounded, his expression changing several times.
Wen Qianqian came out after changing her clothes and silently walked up to Zhou Zimu, calling out softly, "Zimu."
As if not hearing her, Zhou Zimu continued to stare at the two figures walking away, his face growing paler.
Seeing Zhou Zimu's unusual expression, Wen Qianqian followed his gaze, but all she saw were two blurry figures.
It took a while before Zhou Zimu came back to reality, muttering to himself, "How... Why is she with him?"
Wen Qianqian asked in confusion, "What? Zimu, who are you talking about?"
Zhou Zimu's gaze finally focused, landing on Wen Qianqian's plain face, he asked, "Why is Jiang Yi with your uncle?"
