As expected, it didn't take ten minutes before Wen Suihan arrived.
Jiang Yi ordered a cup of coffee for him, but he didn't drink it. Instead, he said to her, "Where do you want to go?"
Jiang Yi thought for a moment and said, "Would you accompany me to the mall? Aunt Zhu's birthday is in a few days, and I want to prepare a surprise for her."
Upon mention of Zhu Shuanghua, Wen Suihan's expression changed slightly.
"You mean Zhu Shuanghua?"
"You know her?" Jiang Yi couldn't help but ask.
Wen Suihan didn't look into Jiang Yi's eyes. He averted his gaze and said, "Xici's mother, of course, I know her."
"Oh, right. How could I forget that connection."
As they spoke, Wen Suihan had already called the waiter over, paid the bill, and the two of them walked out together.
When they reached Wen Suihan's car, his phone rang with an incoming call.
It didn't take long after Wen Suihan answered the phone for his expression to grow increasingly serious.
Jiang Yi asked, "What's wrong?"
