Jiang Yi donned a camel-colored plaid cashmere coat with a matching wool beret atop her head. The egg-shaped face was a tad reddened by the wind, and she had a small suitcase trailing behind her.
"Did you come by yourself?" Wen Suihan instinctively reached out to support her as he asked.
Jiang Yi hugged his neck and kissed his cheek, "I missed you. Did you miss me?"
As she spoke those words, Jiang Yi was horrified to discover that there were four people gathered around the dining table behind Wen Suihan.
All four of them wore expressions of shock, their eight eyes fixed on her.
Jiang Yi let go as if electrocuted and jumped down from Wen Suihan, her face then bursting into a deep blush, too embarrassed to speak.
Fortunately, Wen Suihan timely wrapped his arms around her waist, preventing her from falling.
"I, I didn't know... you were still at work, sorry."
Jiang Yi lowered her head, avoiding the gazes of the four people, and fumbled for an explanation, thoroughly mortified.
