Seven days flew by.
Red Queen informed Ivan of Dumbledore's arrival with a young boy. He instructed the elf to guide them and proceeded to the altar, where he awaited their arrival.
Moments later, Dumbledore and a teenager entered the chamber. Ivan greeted them with a practiced smile. "Professor Dumbledore, a pleasure. And this must be Harry Potter, the legendary savior of the wizarding world."
"Indeed, Dr. Ivan, this is Harry. Everything rests in your capable hands."
Ivan turned his attention to Harry. "Greetings, young Harry. It's a pleasure to meet you at last."
A flicker of remembrance crossed Ivan's eyes. He had witnessed Harry Potter's life unfold almost from the shadows. Seeing his childhood idol in person evoked a silent sigh within him.
Harry, ever curious, scrutinized Ivan. Upon hearing his greeting, he responded promptly, "Hello, Dr. Ivan. My godfather, Remus Lupin, spoke highly of you. He said he could control his werewolf nature, thanks to you. He hopes to repay the favor."
Due to Ivan's influence, the fates of some had shifted. While Lupin remained a werewolf, his circumstances were far better than in the original story. He ruled his pack respectfully, his enhanced strength granting him more significant influence. This influence extended to his godson, Harry, ensuring his childhood wasn't as bleak as the one in the books.
Though Harry's parents remained tragically deceased, and he was still sent to live with his aunt for his safety, Lupin offered him secret protection and frequent visits. With the werewolf leader's backing, Harry's childhood held a semblance of normalcy.
Ivan felt the urge to ruffle Harry's hair flicker through him, but he refrained. Their relationship wasn't one of familiarity. "A courteous young man indeed," Ivan acknowledged. Let's dispense with pleasantries. I shall begin by lifting the curse from you both."
Consumed by curiosity, Dumbledore tried to guess the method Ivan would employ. After all, his attempts had proven fruitless.
Ivan retrieved two small puppets from a nearby box and activated them with a flick of his finger. Each puppet seemed to contort in pain as if on the verge of collapse. Ivan held them firmly, seemingly preventing them from succumbing.
"These puppets are a type of hardship puppet," he explained. "I acquired an ancient Chinese witchcraft inheritance that detailed their creation. They're crafted from puppet wood, which resembles wood but doesn't originate from trees. Unfortunately, I possess a limited supply.
These puppets' primary function is to endure misfortune in their owner's stead. However, I've refined their usage. They can also absorb curses. Extend your hand, and allow them to draw the curse out of you."
According to Ivan's request, Dumbledore and Harry put their hands in front of the two puppets. The two activated puppets seemed to have seen delicious food. They opened their mouths and bit on Harry and Dumbledore's fingers, wisps of black visible to the naked eye. The two puppets quickly sucked the breath out, swallowed into the belly, and then became rotten, and cracks appeared on the puppet. When the last ray of black breath was absorbed, the puppet almost shattered. A fierce fire broke out of Ivan's hand, burning the puppet and turning it into ashes with the curse.
At this moment, Dumbledore felt an indescribable ease in his body. He sensed it, and the curse's power had disappeared. Looking at Harry next to him, Dumbledore reached out and pressed the lightning scar on his forehead, and soon, It was discovered that the piece of soul that belonged to Voldemort had also disappeared.
"It's that simple!" Dumbledore couldn't believe what he could not do with all his hard work; Ivan did it so quickly, using only two little puppets.
"Do you think it's easy? The key to all this lies in the two puppets, but this kind of puppet is challenging, and the success rate could be much higher. How did the material of the puppet come into being? No one knows; only one or two pieces will appear occasionally.
"It turns out that I was wrong. In any case, thank you, Dr. Ivan, for saving him. Although the last thing has not been achieved, I know you will not break your promise. Here are the three Time Turners; please keep them safe."
Ivan grabbed the three-time turners in his hands and looked at them carefully. It was like three pocket watches, and there was a cold metal touch in his hands.
After some calculations, he was in a good mood.
Professor Dumbledore believed in what he said. He got the time-turner. It's amazing. The control is rigorous; even if Hogwarts wants a time turner, you must apply, but you can get three at once.
"By the way, Don't cause trouble with this time turners. I want to avoid being approached by the Ministry of Magic."
Dumbledore showed a bitter smile, "If it was before, I couldn't get three-time turners, but now the Ministry of Magic has been captured by Voldemort. Some people still care about these rules, but it is fortunate that some of the wizards from the Ministry of Magic escaped and took most of the precious items, including the time-turner. The wizard has also died in battle; if you don't talk, no one will know that the time turners have fallen into your hands."
"If this is the case, so I can rest assured. Speaking of which, I have to thank Voldemort. Otherwise, I might need more time to get three-time turners. By the way, how many time turners were there in total? You know it is used for what material it is made of?"
After Ivan got the time turner, I immediately began to sense its production material and found that the time turner shell was made of a kind of magic material. The internal components and the materials used are not the same; Ivan could analyze it, but the core is a grain of sand. No matter how Ivan sensed it, he couldn't find out what substance it was and even got a strange feeling that it was as if the grain of sand did not exist at all.
This strange situation made Ivan carefully recall the books he had read before. He finally thought of a legendary empty object, the sand of time, which was the key to the time-turner technology.
"There were seven-time turners in total, but for some special reasons, two were damaged, and five were left. Now you have three. As for the materials needed to make it, I'm still looking for them. Turner has existed for a long time, and it is even said that it is a treasure left by Merlin's sage."
"That's it! Originally, I wanted to try it. I wanted to make it myself?" Ivan felt a little pity.
"How is it so simple to make a time turner? Someone had the same idea as you before, but unfortunately, they all failed. Although the timeless turner can reverse time, the effect is less powerful than you imagined. It will not last too long, only a few days at most, and it is easy to be damaged if used too frequently, which is the case with the two that were destroyed before, so you must pay attention when using it."
"Understood, no worries. My research won't involve reckless experimentation," Ivan assured him.
Now that the terms of their agreement had been fulfilled, it was time for Ivan to hold up his end of the bargain. He wasn't one to renege on a deal. Turning to Harry, he addressed him kindly, "Come here, Harry."
Harry readily complied, approaching Ivan. As instructed, he rolled up his sleeve, revealing his arm. Ivan retrieved the prepared phoenix gene potion and swiftly injected it into a vein.
"There's something important you need to understand, Harry," Ivan explained. As the Phoenix medicine integrates with your body, you might experience pain like no other. It would be best if you endured it. For safety reasons, stand on the altar. When you feel an intense heat erupt within you, channel your entire magical reserve into it. Don't worry about anything else—I'll handle the rest."
Harry glanced down at the intricate magic circle inscribed on the altar floor, its surface teeming with dense magical runes. He stood there, apprehension flickering across his face.
Within minutes, Harry felt a scorching heat enveloping him, spreading like wildfire throughout his body. Instinctively, he obeyed Ivan's instructions, pouring all his magic into the burning sensation. A surge of power coursed through him, overwhelming in its intensity. A wave of exhilaration washed over him.
Dumbledore, observing from outside the altar, witnessed a remarkable transformation. Harry's once slender frame began to bulk, his neck elongated, and his features morphed into a sharp beak. His arms transformed into wings, his feet became sharp talons, and three magnificent tail feathers sprouted from his rear. Fiery red feathers erupted all over his body.
Harry's size continued to grow, fueled by a burgeoning magical power. However, as his length neared ten meters, the transformation seemed to falter, leaving him stuck as a grotesque hybrid between human and phoenix.
Prepared for this moment, Ivan swiftly activated a hidden mechanism on the altar's edge. The inscribed runes blazed to life, glowing with an intense light—the magic circle overflowed with unimaginable pure magic, a portion channeling directly into Harry.
This influx of energy invigorated Harry, propelling him forward. The transformation accelerated, and he was no longer a half-formed creature but a magnificent phoenix. Thirty meters long, he stood tall and proud, radiating an otherworldly grace and beauty.
