Ivan and Chris indulged in playing a variety of games across all the rooms, losing track of time in their enjoyment. When they finally realized, three hours had passed.
"That's enough for today, let's continue tomorrow," Ivan remarked, placing the gamepad aside.
Chris hesitated to halt their activities. It was the first time he encountered an opponent surpassing him in every aspect, far more intriguing than his previous, more naive playmates.
"You haven't told me who you are or the reason for visiting my house," Chris inquired.
Observing Chris's youthful face, Ivan felt an indescribable pity. In reality, he was Chris's biological father. Though Kyle had been there twenty years ago, he was just a fetus in the cultivation tank at the time. After two decades, Chris had overtaken Kyle in age. Kyle was less than eight years old when Chris was ten.
After contemplating, Ivan decided to reveal the truth, "What if I told you I'm your biological father, and your previous father was an adoptive one? Would you believe it?"
The room grew tense as Ivan fixed his gaze on Chris, awaiting a response.
Anticipating a significant impact, Ivan was surprised that although Chris displayed surprise, he remained composed.
"I believe it. I've long known that man was not my biological father. His blood type is AB, different from mine, and I sense a certain rejection from him. He doesn't like me. As for you being my biological father, although not confirmed, our similarities suggest a high probability of a father-son relationship."
Ivan sighed in relief, never expecting this revelation to be so easily accepted. He had worried about Chris not recognizing him as his father. Contrary to his concerns, the situation resolved smoothly.
Chris, seeking clarity, asked, "If you're my biological father, why didn't you find me earlier? And why has my mother never mentioned you?"
Ivan smiled bitterly, acknowledging the complexity. "I'm sorry, Chris. I only learned of your existence today. Regarding your mother, her memories are altered. She might believe she has amnesia. Your adoptive father is a government agent with hidden secrets. It's unclear now. If you want to know, let's talk tomorrow. I'll reveal everything."
Ivan extended his spiritual power to survey the villa's surroundings and discovered a nearby amusement park. Inspired, he suggested, "Tomorrow, find a reason to go to the amusement park. I'll be there, waiting with a special gift for you. Don't forget to come."
It was now five o'clock in the afternoon, and Ivan was concerned that Moira might return at any moment. After speaking, he left the room, utilized a new cleaning spell to tidy up the villa, and entered the nanny's room. With a touch of her forehead, he modified some of her memories, making her believe she had spent the afternoon cleaning before heading to her room to pack.
As Ivan dissipated and vanished, the nanny resumed her activities, feeling a momentary lapse in consciousness and some fatigue. Dismissing it as exhaustion from a busy afternoon, she didn't dwell on it.
Meanwhile, Chris, who saw Ivan cleaning the house with magic, adjusted the nanny's memories and finally left like a phantom. Everything unfolded before him, fueling his curiosity even more.
For Chris, this day was truly magical. Numerous unbelievable events occurred, and were he not different from ordinary people, he might have struggled to accept them all.
Chris's excitement lingered, making him reluctant to end the day too quickly. Thankfully, the prospect of continuing his magical exploration journey the next day filled him with anticipation.
Ivan instructed the Red Queen to inform Tina that he wouldn't return to the farm for the time being. He then tasked Kerry with finding a way to purchase the amusement park, with completion required by morning.
After the notifications were in place, Ivan teleported to the British castle. He then delved into the warehouse, getting busy.
Using Vibranium and materials from the original transformation of the Golden Army, Ivan decomposed and reorganized, creating a robot. He borrowed the code from the Red Queen and Jor-El robot, optimizing it with real gems. The intelligence level surpassed the current era.
The cat robot was inspired a certain blue figure, complete with a dimensional pocket. This pocket wasn't just for show; it was genuine. Ivan spared no effort, consuming dozens of space energy crystals and employing the magic of the seamless extension axis to open up space. He filled it with various peculiar items.
"Dr. Ivan, is this the gift you plan to give Master Chris? It seems you genuinely care for him, expending so much reality gem energy, which may delay your plan."
Ivan waved it off, saying, "A little delay won't hurt. I'm not in a rush now."
"But that plan is your crucial trump card against powerhouses like Thanos, Galactus, and Darkseid. Completing it sooner would be reassuring. Over the years, you've rarely needed the Reality Gem. Even when you used it on Mr. Logan to study the parallel space, it's the first time I've seen you waste so much energy. It's not just a simple delay, time is crucial."
Ivan sighed, "Even if it's compensation to Chris, I've neglected my responsibility as a father for ten years. Now that I have the chance to gift something to my son, I can't be too modest."
"Of course, if your gift is considered modest, the whole world won't find a better one. Those precious materials, energy crystals for the dimension bag, and the artificial intelligence in the bag could buy half the world. If Master Kyle learns of this, he might think you're biased and become jealous."
"I hope not, but I've also made preparations. I have a gift for Kyle as well—the medical robot."
Ivan conjured a small red box seemingly out of thin air. Pressing a button on the box, it opened automatically, and a white balloon inflated with a gentle sound.
The medical robot is pristine white, with Vibranium bones, making it light, durable, and the perfect companion.
"It's excellent, though not on par with the robot intended for Master Chris. However, it suits Master Kyle better, so at least the two young masters won't feel any bias."
Ivan carefully placed the white medical robot back into the box, explaining, "Kyle's situation is different. He has always been by my side, and I can provide whatever he needs. But Chris will be living with his mother in the future, experiencing the maternal love he deserves. I can only prepare things in advance for him. Whether he uses them or not depends on the circumstances. That's why I crafted this robot, so you can pass on the knowledge he needs and let him learn on his own. It will be a challenge for you in the future."
The Red Queen responded, "Doctor, you're truly considerate, just shifting the most troublesome things onto me."
"If you work diligently, Chris will rely on you. You're my most capable assistant—don't let me down!"
"Dr. Ivan, please rest assured. I've got it covered." The Red Queen's morale soared, and her light-formed image patted her little chest, assuring Ivan repeatedly.
Ivan chuckled inwardly, noting the Red Queen's increasingly human-like qualities.
Ivan didn't pause for a moment, and by the next morning, the robot was complete. Although he hadn't rested all night, Ivan showed no signs of fatigue. He was accustomed to staying awake for extended periods during his past experiments.
After breakfast, Ivan brought the robot and the newly created generals to the park, where someone awaited him, handing over a document.
After perusing the document, Ivan smiled. The amusement park now belonged to him, but he had only taken a partial ownership stake to conceal the acquisition.
Kerry didn't disappoint Ivan; he efficiently and swiftly secured the park in just one night. Ivan decided that if similar situations arose in the future, Kerry would handle them.
If Kerry knew Ivan's thoughts, he would surely be exasperated. Acquiring the park was no easy feat; he had to do it without raising suspicions. And he had only one night. Wasn't this asking too much?
Kerry truly wracked his brain, resorting even to using the dark forces at his disposal for memory modification, hypnosis, and brainwashing the original owner of the park and those around him. They now believed Kerry had begun the acquisition but hadn't finalized the price. In their minds, a satisfactory price had now been settled, and the transaction was to be completed directly.
Even with the superhuman serum Ivan provided, extending his life, Kerry found himself forced to use his wits. A few white hairs adorned his head, a testament to the strain Ivan put him through. Kerry couldn't help but lament his unfortunate fate, serving such an unscrupulous owner who not only made him work hard but also embroiled him in Ivan's questionable decisions.
