Under the cover of the night's darkness, the cold wind raged, howling and whining, yet it had no impact on an upscale establishment like the Hellfire Club.
Ivan, a regular man, possesses a robust physique and a substantial size. Strengthened numerous times, his health surpasses that of ordinary individuals. Notably, he harbors a mature heart—a blend of water and milk, a delightful taste of ecstasy.
Presented with beauties like the Black Queen, how could he resist? In a spacious bedroom, both were caught in heavy breathing. After a while, a beauty akin to suet and white jade boldly appeared before Ivan.
The Black Queen, accustomed to the battlefield, lacked the shyness of an ordinary woman. Following a brief flirtation, the war commenced immediately. Ivan, upholding his dignity, didn't back down.
As a witch who sustains herself by absorbing others' vitality, the Black Queen possesses a natural vitality, initially drawn to Ivan's immense life force—a lethal temptation.
To absorb Ivan's vitality, the Black Queen forsakes her original stance, supporting Shaw's plan to gain proximity to Ivan. Seizing the opportunity presented, she doesn't intend to let it slip away.
Living for countless years, the Black Queen refrains from immediate action. To ensure successful absorption, the opportune moment must coincide with Ivan's exhaustion. Choosing to bide her time on the bed, she waits for Ivan's physical strength to peak. She won't absorb all of his vitality, leaving a portion to ensure Ivan's safety, mindful not to sever ties with Shaw completely.
However, unbeknownst to the Black Queen, Ivan, already aware of her abilities, isn't easily deceived. While engaged in vigorous exercise, both are playing their games, waiting for the right moment.
Meanwhile, in another room, the Red Devil, Shaw, Emma, and Mastermind engage in a heated argument, with Emma, the White Queen, wearing a displeased expression.
"Shaw, aren't you worried? While she won't kill him for her own sake, if she depletes too much vitality, I'm afraid..."
Shaw dismisses Emma with a wave, cutting off her next words. "There's nothing to worry about. I hope she keeps her promise and supports my plan after she emerges, instead of opposing me in anger."
Though Emma doesn't hold much affection for Ivan, considering him a compatriot and fellow mutant prompts her to express concern. Mastermind, too, wears a troubled expression, reevaluating his allegiance to Shaw. In contrast, Red Devil maintains a calm demeanor, reading a book on space theory from his personal space.
Noticing Emma and Masstermind's expressions, Shaw clarifies, "It's not as you two think. I'm not worried, because I believe in Ivan's strength. This time, he'll outsmart the old woman. Look at Azazel, he's been with Ivan the longest and isn't concerned at all. You should understand what's happening."
Turning to observe Red Devil, Emma detects his relaxed demeanor through her telepathic ability, dispelling her worries.
However, the subsequent events left the White Queen disheartened. When her mental power delved into Red Devil's mind, she found herself in a space filled with mirrors. These mirrors seemed like interconnected passages—one could enter them, but each time you did, you'd find yourself in a different space, essentially a labyrinth where getting lost was a real possibility. How could she hope to invade Red Devil's mind under such challenging circumstances?
The blow made the White Queen almost vomit blood. It wasn't the first time her ability had failed her. Previously, she encountered a similar situation in Shaw's mind. She used her telepathic ability to probe into Shaw's thoughts, but a few years ago, something changed in Shaw's spirit. His mental power became more condensed, resisting her attempts at spiritual invasion.
Undeterred, the White Queen persisted in honing her abilities. She finally succeeded in sensing Shaw's thoughts without him being aware. However, this success was short-lived. One day, her mental power encountered a black hole in Shaw's mind, destroying it and causing Emma considerable trauma. Since then, she dared not invade Shaw's brain and could no longer sense his thoughts.
The catalyst for this change was Ivan. He had devised a secret method of spiritual power cultivation, teaching it to Captain America. Shaw sought Ivan's help to address the vulnerability in his mind. Without hesitation, Ivan shared the mysterious method he created, and Shaw, after years of practice, visualized a protective black hole in his mind, thwarting spiritual attacks.
Red Devil, being the first to approach Ivan, also acquired the spiritual power cultivation method. Leveraging his knowledge of space, he visualized a labyrinth in his mind.
Observing the room's occupants, the only one able to sense thoughts apart from herself was Mastermind, a straightforward individual.
Gazing at Azazel engrossed in reading, the White Queen contemplated inquiring about his resistance to her telepathy. However, she couldn't broach the topic too directly and sought a more casual conversation.
"Azazel, you're deeply immersed in reading. Are you considering a career change to become a scientist?"
Upon hearing the White Queen's inquiry, Red Devil set aside his book, shook his head, and replied, "With the knowledge I possess, being a scientist isn't my forte. I focus on learning space theory and honing my abilities. Honestly, after spending so much time with Dr. Ivan, I've come to appreciate the significance of knowledge. Despite our innate talents as mutants, if our abilities fail us, we find ourselves vulnerable—sometimes even less capable than an ordinary person. It's a perilous situation."
The White Queen couldn't hide her displeasure at this critique, considering she had chastised mutants collectively.
"So, what have you gleaned from the book? Can it genuinely aid in your ability development? Let's discuss any progress."
Sensing the discontent in the White Queen's tone, Red Devil, initially reluctant to flaunt his strength, felt compelled to respond to the agitation from the alluring woman.
Moreover, he believed there was no need to conceal their abilities among mutants. With a wave of his hand, a plate-sized blue wormhole materialized in front of him. The Red Devil thrust his arm into the wormhole with a resounding bang. Startled, the White Queen turned to see a corresponding wormhole behind her, where the Red Devil's fist slammed into the wall.
"This is a method of utilizing space wormholes for long-range attacks. It possesses peculiar characteristics and is difficult to guard against."
"Snap"
Red Devil snapped his fingers again, summoning another blue space wormhole. Controlled by the Red Devil, the wormhole positioned itself on a 30-centimeter-high metal ornament on the nearby table. The wormhole rapidly contracted, disappearing swiftly. To everyone's horror, the ornament split in two, the cut surface smooth and seamless.
"This is space cutting. So far, aside from a metal called Vibranium, I haven't encountered anything that can withstand this type of spatial power."
Red Devil held the upper half of the severed ornament, extending his hand. A spherical blue space barrier enveloped the other half. When the Red Devil struck down with the ornament, it passed through the seemingly nonexistent barrier as if the other half were a phantom.
"This is a space guardian. I can temporarily banish the person or object I want to protect to another space. It may appear motionless, but it's entirely in another dimension as long as the space barrier remains. No one can touch what's inside."
As the Red Devil showcased his abilities one by one, even Shaw was momentarily taken aback. Shaw felt a lack of confidence in defeating Red Devil, recognizing the Red Devil's mastery of spatial manipulation. Regardless of strength, the Red Devil's ability to escape posed a formidable challenge.
