- You will be Vermiel," Lox said in a cold tone.
As Lox gave out the name, his demonic power flowed through the cat's body, causing him to feel an unfamiliar sensation.
He felt his essence disintegrate under the influence of this power, and the cat's body began to slowly fade away as if dissolving into a haze.
"Damn, the image is shaken after all," Lox thought heavily.
A black haze formed around Lox, swirling around his body.
It seemed that his essence was coming into contact with powerful demonic energy, and it caused an uncontrollable reaction.
Lox felt his consciousness begin to blur, as if he was losing control of his own body.
"Recovered vigorously!" - charged Lox to himself.
But he was an experienced demon and was able to quickly restore himself, holding his form back.
With the power of his mind, Lox kept his demonic essence from completely dissipating.
He concentrated so that he wouldn't lose control of his cat body and return to his familiar form.
After a few moments that seemed like an eternity, the haze began to gather around the cat. Lox's form became clearer and more defined, and finally he regained his normal cat form.
Lox sighed heavily, feeling his demonic power still stirring within him.
- Are you alright ? - Vermiel asked, he gazed into Lox's violet eyes.
Lox slowly lowered his paw and looked at Vermiil. He smiled a slight smile, showing that he was fine.
- 'Thank you for your concern, Vermiil. Just giving out names is not as easy as it seems. But I'm glad we have you now," Lox replied.
Vermiel nodded, showing understanding.
He was a loyal follower of Lox and was willing to serve him in all things.
- 'Don't worry, master. We will always be there for you and support you in everything,' Vermiel said proudly.
Lox thought for a moment, realizing the responsibility he now had to these little demons.
- Don't you have to give the others names? - Lox said slyly, folding his paws into a pyramid," Lox smiled as he continued to fold his paws into a pyramid.
- You want to make sure everyone responds faithfully to orders.
Vermiel nodded in response and quickly rushed over to the rest of the demons.
He stopped in front of each one, made up names, and then addressed them so they would memorize their new names.
- 'You be Cree, and you be Eri,' Vermiel said, calling out their names as he handed them out.
Lox watched this process, not showing much interest in the names Vermiel was coming up with.
It was important to him that the demons knew who they served and carried out his orders flawlessly.
Soon Vermiel finished handing out the names and turned back to Lox.
- Everyone has been named, sir," he said proudly.
Lox looked at his new subordinates, whose names were, in his opinion, rather simple and unoriginal.
He could understand that Vermiel didn't have much creativity in choosing names, but on the other hand, it wasn't that important.
Vermiel was a genius of this time, the names were characterized by a capital letter.
What was more important was that the demons now had names, and that gave them individuality and special status.
"Oh well, better that than nameless slaves," Lox decided, nodding to himself in satisfaction.
He knew that names could have special magical powers and influence a creature's behavior.
Even simple names could subdue one's actions and thoughts. Vermiel probably realized this as well and that was why he had chosen such simple names for his subordinates.
"Maybe in time they'll pick up more interesting names for themselves," Lox thought to himself, looking at his demons again.
He realized that their intellectual capacity wasn't as great as his, and they didn't have as rich a vocabulary to choose original names.
Nevertheless, Lox was pleased with his new minions. They were loyal to him, and that was the most important thing.
"Who knows, maybe these humble demons will prove just as useful as the more powerful demons," thought Lox, feeling a sense of pride awakened inside him for his new servants.
As Lox pondered the future of his kingdom, Vermiel continued to follow him, ready to follow his every command.
Despite their simplicity and modesty, the demons were full of loyalty and determination to serve their new master.
[ The Northern Forest of Actochadia is a land lost in the wilderness, where the ruthless law of power and might reigns supreme. This mysterious corner of the world is inhabited by monsters, demons, and other creatures that live by their own laws.
There is no room for weakness here, and only the strongest survive.
The landscape of the Northern Forest is impressive in its diversity and beauty.
Powerful and fanged mountains rise above the land like guardians of ancient times, protecting their secrets and treasures.
These mountains shine in the rays of the moon and are a picturesque sight during the daytime.
Empty forests stretch across the land, home to wild animals and dangerous creatures.
Thick and gloomy trees hide the secrets and mysteries of the dark corners of the North Woods.
The sound of leaves and chirping birds break the silence of the place, and long trails lead to the unknown.
Aktohadia is known for its hidden treasures and jewels that attract travelers and adventurers. However, not everyone will get to them, for many dangers and traps lurk here.
In this land, every action affects your fate, and every decision determines your fate. You cannot be weak here, for the Northern Forest is the place where feats are performed and legends of brave heroes and ruthless warriors are forged. ]
Lox felt his image begin to fade, he sensed that something was wrong. He tried to concentrate, but the weakness was getting the better of him.
His heart was pounding frantically and he slowly closed his eyes.
"What's going on? Why am I getting so weak?" - A thought flashed through Lox's mind.
His mind was cloudy, but he realized that something had gone wrong with the naming ritual. He remembered the warning that giving too many names could weaken him for a long time.
On the other hand, Lox also guessed that Vermiel was involved in what was going on. After all, only free demons could give names, and Vermiel now clearly possessed a name, which confirmed his commitment to Lox.
"Maybe Vermiel is using my energy to reinforce his loyalty and power?" - Lox speculated.
The little demon, Vermiel, was nearby and looked at his master with tenderness and devotion.
He understood what was going on, but he couldn't afford to tell the truth.
Vermiel knew that Lox was too powerful to be just someone's servant, but he had to hide it to keep himself alive and loyal to his new master.
- Master, are you alright? - Vermiel whispered with worry and concern in his voice.
Lox tried to smile, but his face was marred by fatigue.
- Yeah... I'm... just... not used to... to this kind of... ritual..." he whispered quietly, fighting weakness.
- But it doesn't matter," Lox said heavily.
Vermiel nodded, continuing to watch his master restlessly. Lox knew he needed to rest and regain his strength.
- 'Vermiel, make sure everyone stays safe. I need to rest to regain my strength," Lox said with a tired smile.
Lox closed his eyes, falling into darkness.
In the darkness of the dream, Lox sank deeper and deeper, as if he were floating on a slow current of unknown waters.
There was nothing around him, only an endless blackness that consumed his consciousness.
He felt light and weightless, as if his body had disappeared and he had become only a spirit, free from the boundaries of worldly existence.
His every movement was light and fluid, as if he were traveling through a non-existent world where the laws of physics lost their power.
In the depths of this darkness, Lox felt his essence becoming part of something greater and more universal.
He felt connected to the darkness as if it were his companion and mentor.
Like a strange traveler in an unknown world, Lox continued his journey, not knowing where it would take him.
Time lost its meaning and space became illusory. It was as if he was sinking into the sea of eternity, where the past and the future merged into a single present.
But suddenly he heard Vermeil's voice calling him "Lord." The word pierced the darkness and caught his attention.
While Lox had never dreamed, a female figure suddenly appeared before him in the dark space.
She was beautiful, but mysterious and snow-white, as if made of ice and snow. A fire of violet emeralds burned in her eyes that made Lox shudder.
Her form vanished and reappeared, like a mysterious embodiment of nature itself.
Lox couldn't explain what this figure was or why she appeared before him in his dreams.
He felt that she was no ordinary dream, but something more, something beyond his comprehension.
- Who are you?" whispered Lox as he looked at this mysterious female figure.
The figure did not respond with words, but her presence overwhelmed Lox with feelings and emotions.
He felt strength and power, but at the same time, gentleness and wisdom. It was such a strange and multifaceted feeling, as if he was facing the essence of the world itself.
- What do you want from me? - Lox asked, sensing that this figure had some important message or task for him.
The figure slowly raised its hand and touched Lox's forehead with its index finger.
At that moment, Lox felt a sudden insight, as if knowledge and wisdom had been infused into his mind.
He began to realize that his power and destiny extended much further than he could have imagined.
- Remember your power. Remember your purpose.
Great things await you, Master," came a gentle whisper.
Lox felt those words penetrate his soul, as if someone had opened a door for him.
- Viola? - Lox asked again, but the figure was already disappearing, as if it had vanished into the darkness of his dream.
Lox woke up, his eyes slowly opened to the reality of the northern forest.
He could feel the sweat of cold sweat dripping off his forehead, and his heart was pounding frantically in his chest.
These were all new sensations for the demon, he experienced a human emotion, fear.
Viola's reflection in the dream left a lasting impression on him.
He didn't understand what it meant, for Viola was the girl he had absorbed so that he could live. But that figure in the dream was white and mysterious, and he felt some mixture of feelings.
He was a demon, he was free of human emotions and fears, but now he realized that even in this world, in its picturesque forests and dark expanses, he could not escape those human aspects that remained in his mind from Viola.
Lox rose to his feet, trying to regain his strength after this strange dream, streams of mana came out of his hand and Lox regained his former cat form.
Lox stood in the middle of the dark hut, his gaze was dark and brooding.
He slowly moved the water stream in his hand, trying to understand and realize what had happened.
How had Viola reappeared in his dream, even though he had completely absorbed her essence?
Mixed feelings and thoughts filled his mind. This was something new and incomprehensible to the demon.
He had always been free of emotions and feelings, but now he was experiencing something he had never felt before.
It was something like ego, a desire for control and power.
This new experience was both interesting and disturbing.
Lox realized that his connection to Viola, though terminated at the soul level, still left a mark on his mind.
Perhaps he had become not just a demon, but a demon with human undertones. This was some new state that he had to learn and understand.
He gazed into the water stream in his hand, trying to see the answers to his questions.
But instead of answers, all he saw was his reflection, which seemed alien and incomprehensible.
"What is happening to me? Why am I experiencing these feelings? I'm a demon, I must be strong and indifferent," thought Lox, not finding answers to his questions.
His inner world was torn by contradictory thoughts. On the one hand, he felt an inner excitement and interest in his new possibilities.
On the other hand, he felt fear of the unknown and unexpected intrusion of human feelings into his essence.
Lox closed his eyes, trying to quiet his inner burlesque.
He decided to give himself time to think, to realize what was happening to him and how he should handle these new feelings.
- I cannot allow human feelings to control me. I must remain a strong and powerful demon," Lox said to himself, trying to keep his essence from interfering.
