Chapter Zero
An Old Legend
"I am Dragon Bone, the king of bones. And who are you to challenge me?" The giant Dragon Skeleton glared at his enemies with seething anger.
"I am Snowy Horn, and with the power of The Elements Of Harmony, I vow to protect Equestria from your tyranny," declared the brave Unicorn, standing tall on a cliff, meeting the Dragon's gaze head-on.
"And I am Shine, a changeling ready to shatter your bones!" threatened the flying changeling as she positioned herself beside Snowy Horn, undeterred by the immense foe before them.
"I see… but how do you intend to defeat me?" Dragon Bone sneered with sarcasm.
With determination, Snowy Horn revealed The Elements Of Harmony, presenting them as a symbol of their unyielding strength.
"Shine, it's time for Plan C!" Snowy Horn called out. In a daring move, the Unicorn leaped from the cliff, and the changeling quickly transformed into a dragon, catching Snowy Horn on her back mid-air.
Dragon Bone responded by snapping his massive fangs and hurling bones at his adversaries. But Snowy Horn and Shine were quick and agile, evading the incoming barrage effortlessly.
"You think that will be enough to defeat us?" Snowy Horn retorted as Shine gracefully dodged the bones.
Dragon Bone smirked and said, "No, I knew it wouldn't be." With a low rumble, the bones fell to the ground, but instead of lying still, they began to gather together, forming wolf-like creatures that lunged at Shine, attempting to bite her wings.
In response, Shine transformed into an Ursa Major, using her newfound strength to toss Snowy Horn towards Dragon Bone while she herself collapsed after reverting to her original form, having exhausted her energy.
"Now it's my turn to shine," Snowy Horn proclaimed, tapping into the potent magic of The Elements, causing them to radiate with a brilliant, dazzling light.
I'm feeling that a time skip would be inappropriate for the current situation, but why not?
a thin unicorn named Leo whispers, "Okay, that's the only way," before fearlessly jumping off the cliff of a snowy mountain cave, with a fierce Dragon hot on his heels.
