The elf with golden hair momentarily froze, baffled. The academy of elves never taught her how to handle such situations.

However, she thought, "So in the eyes of men, my charm is less than that of this pretty boy?"

"What say you, Miss Elf?" Cash asked, shrugging.

Not having realized that Cash was an intellectual, Lureia's pride took a hit, her expression darkening.

To utterly ignore the recognized beauty of the new generation of elves and, in front of her, to harass a regular human villager was utterly absurd!

"At least respect the protocol, show some form of verbal aggression towards a young girl, let her reject you and then retaliate, you jerk!" she thought.

"I'm sorry, but I cannot accept this! I won't let you have him!"

Lureia's grip tightened on her elven sword, determination clear in her eyes.

"I'm not sure what you've come to realize, but good on you, Lureia!"
