Joseph Pov
It's been 2 weeks since I sent the Captain of the Guard to go to the villages that were under the Domain of the Lordship of Duloc, besides I myself started to teach the first Guards to learn to read and write.
I started to teach them 2 Languages, the Chic English that they have in this World and German, with the latter being the Official Language within the territories under Duloc's direction, this had a strategic objective.
If Duloc for some reason needed to go to war, if someone managed to get their hands on some important information, they wouldn't know because it would be in German, with idiots spending more time deciphering the language than on the Battlefield or going to the Battlefield without knowing than my future army plans.
I'll be teaching them English first and then German, so they can focus on at least learning how to write.
First I would teach those who would be the future Officers of my Dulocian Army, in addition to hiring a tailor to start making the new uniforms for the troops.
Their Uniforms would be the famous Prussian Uniforms, which let's be honest, they were amazing, I was already creating a Prussian Constitution, so why not create a Prussian Army already?
"Okay, you are dismissed, I want you to bring me tomorrow the activities I asked for you, you don't need to be afraid if you make a mistake, to err is human and we learn from our mistakes" I said to the Guards who were sitting on some chairs facing me.
The Guards nodded their heads before rising, giving me a Military Salute, and leaving with the materials I had spent to make for them.
When all the Guards left, I stayed in the temporary "Classroom" that I had and then I took a glass of wine that was stored, I always drink a glass of wine after taking classes.
When I finished drinking my wine, I left the room and called some maids to clear everything up before heading to my office.
But as I walked through the corridors, being greeted with enthusiasm by the Guards and the servants of my "Palace", I found walking through the corridors the Captain of the Guard, together with 2 Guards who were carrying several large bags that contained papers.
"Mi'lord! I was about to go to your office, we have with us all the information of the people who live in the Lordship of Duloc, in addition to the information of the Villages, etc" Said the Captain to me as he bowed to me.

Joseph was happy to see this, so it will be better to know how the situation was in his small territory, in addition to knowing that it will be fit for the projects he has for the future.
In addition to his goals, what are they? Simple: Conquest and Glory.
He doesn't want to be known as simply "Lord Farquaad" or anything like that, so he will follow a Warpath, with the sole aim of making him create a more powerful Duloc, he knows very well what kind of world it is, then he will use everything to his advantage.
It will be through Faith, Steel, and Gunpowder that he will create his legacy.
"Then come with me Captain, we have a lot of work to do." Said Joseph as he headed towards his office, being followed by the Captain and the 2 Guards who were carrying several bags.
When the Guards left all the bags in Joseph's office, they were dismissed, with only the Captain staying with Joseph.
"Before I read all the papers, I need to hear from you, do we have a problem in the Villages?" Asked Joseph as he went to the chair at his table and sat down, then looked seriously at the Captain.
"The lands under Duloc's Domain are safe so far, Mi'lord, but I believe that we should increase the Guard or the vigil in these lands, to prevent the same from happening in the East Area of Duloc" Responded the Captain while he stayed in a sense and totally serious.
"Hmm...that can be provided in the future." Said Joseph nodding as he picked up some papers and began to read seriously, with him then dismissing the Captain after asking a few more questions, in addition to congratulating him on his work.
'There will be difficult times ahead' Joseph thought as he sighed heavily, he knew how much work he would have ahead of him.
Timeskip-No-Jutsu 4 Months
4 months have passed since Joseph got the information involving the lands of the Lordship of Duloc, in addition to starting to teach the Guards to read and write, which became easier after the Captain of the Guard returned to help him.
With the information he needed to rule the lands of Duloc, Joseph began looking for the right people for the jobs he had in mind, one of those jobs being a Police Officer.
When Duloc's Guard was transformed into a Professional Army, he would need new people to keep order in his territory.
The Uniforms that the Police in Duloc would wear were very similar to the old Police uniform in England, with the Custodian Helmets having a sharp point on top, almost like the Pickelhaube.
The Police would in the future receive rigorous training, almost similar to that of the Army but to deal with criminal problems rather than Battlefield problems.
Joseph was very busy, hardly getting any sleep at all because of the amount of work and paperwork he had to sign because of the projects he created, much to the concern of those who lived in the "Palace".
But for Joseph, he was already used to it, living as a salaryman means that you have to get used to waking up early and working as a Corporate Slave, all for a horrible salary, so you could say that a Monday for Joseph, in addition to that he is the person in charge of everything, so he has to set an example for his subordinates.
Now, at that very moment, he was talking to those who were leading the entire reconstruction of Duloc, which underwent a transformation in several parts over the 4 months, almost becoming a true City influenced by Germanic Architecture.
"How has the reconstruction of the Southern Area been going, gentlemen?" Asked Joseph while drinking the grape juice he had ordered.
"Mi'lord, while the reconstruction is almost finished, we have a small problem that is only because of the irregularity of the terrain there, but we can guarantee that we will finish it as soon as possible" Said one of the men who led the reconstruction of Duloc, with the other nodding in support of his co-worker.
"Hmmm, I see." Said Joseph as he finished drinking his grape juice.
"When Duloc is done rebuilding, Gentlemen, I have even more work for your Company, this time throughout Duloc's territory, creating roads, better houses for Peasants, etc. I want to develop all the infrastructure of the Lordship of Duloc and for that, I'm willing to pay dearly" Joseph said while looking seriously at the two, who were surprised by what he said, but then quickly nodded their heads happily.
This meant more money for them, which clearly made them more motivated to fully rebuild Duloc faster before doing so in the rest of all the lands under Duloc's domain.
Money can motivate everything.
"Don't worry, Mi'lord, we are more than willing to help develop Duloc" Said one of the men hurriedly, with a clear smile on his face.
Joseph nodded before finally dismissing these men, who rose from the chairs they were sitting in, and bowed to Joseph before leaving.
Now alone, Joseph took some papers and started signing for a while before someone knocked on the door, with he then told to come in.
The Ex-Captain of the Guard entered Joseph's office, he was no longer wearing medieval armor, but a Prussian High-Rank Military Uniform.
One thing Joseph did was promote the now Ex-Captain of the Duloc Guard to become a General of the Dulocian Army he was starting to create, in addition to finally knowing his name, which was Oliver, no Last Name.
Joseph was thinking of giving him the chance in the future to choose what last name he would have, as Joseph wanted in the future that all citizens receive last names.
"Ah, Oliver...I believe you have something to let me know?" Joseph asked while raising an eyebrow.
"Yes, Mi'lord, I wanted to let you know that Thelonious is finally ready for the job you have for him" Said Oliver seriously as he gave Joseph a Military Salute.
Hearing this, Joseph couldn't help the smile that appeared on his face, it was time to put one of his many projects into action.
'It's time to create a capable Police Force.' Joseph thought with a smile.
