"How effective was your company under the congratulations to impress before being invited." Martin interrupted, with an almost diabolical sneer on his face. "When are you showing us your first investment?.
He faced Mr. Kelly, who felt bullied by the other man.
"When I get the contract." He said.
"Okay, let's all go for an hour of leisure." The chairman said.
"I don't have all of today. There were some other things to attend to, I got my own company; as you all know. Break down the leisure for my sake."
"You aren't the only one who gets some other thing." Reply to the chairman, showing no intention of changing the time.
"Yeah!, I think he is right, we have things to do."
"But not everyone."
"Let the time be broken down for some who have no time to waste here.
The members convo among themselves.
"Fine, Fine. 30 minutes."
They all leave one after the other, making the room reflected splendidly with both light and air coming from the air conditioning. It became calm and peaceful.
"Thanks for being by me, Mr. Martin." The man, who seems to be a newbie, said.
"Am just being neutral." Martin replied, plainly.
"You did a great job with that." Mr. Kelly responded, stretching a hand to shake.
"Shake hands, Mr. Martin," said Mr Kelly, condescendingly; "looking forward to working with you particularly."
Martin shook hands with him, and muttered. "It's a pleasure."
"Hello, young miss," He greeted Tracy. "Is she a woman?." Mr Kelly asked, cheerfully. One who thinks is a careless child with his gap teeth, looking like a prey eating it up.
She could see Martin giving him a 'what did you mean' look; maybe to enlighten more on his question.
"Oh, I mean, she is your woman."
The question hit Tracy like a discus thrown by an athletics, but waited calmly for Martin to answer.
"No, my personal assistant." He muttered, like he's not ready for a conversation.
"Oh, my bad."
"You may come and join me for a drink." Mr. Kelly said, gesturing to them.
Tracy's eyes sparkled joyfully when they got to the spacious and well-decorated bar.
This is one of the best bars she had ever seen in Japan; well, she hasn't been to many bars, but for the little she had, this is the best.
The dim colorful light coming from the bar, made it radiant.
They took a seat in the middle of the bar, and an attendant immediately attended to them, offering them a cup of beverages juice and some burgers.
The speaker was bumping loudly, as a bean john song was played.
The bar is not crowded but the little one there makes it calm and quiet for leisure.
"So, Mr Martin. How was life in Australia, I heard you spent seven year there." Mr. Kelly broke the gravely silence.
Martin wasn't expecting any words from him, he seems to be a man of words but with sense.
"Ahem," he cleared his throat and continued: "Australia was very big and great, compromising my people. I didn't have much time to tour the country though. My college days make me know a little about the company." He sipped from his coffee, after those words were said.
"I see, you are an alcoholic man." Mr. Kelly laughed.
Martin did not want to dialogue with this young man but he found himself answering him.
"I must admit that, but as man you have to make some currency before enjoying the world."
"You have everything a man can rely on, and you will never go liquidate." Mr Kelly said, like he wants him to make known how wealthy his family is.
"My father works with sweat on his brow, definitely I have to work harder not to become scandalous."
Mr Kelly chortled with delight. "That's true, many won't think that way, probably me. Or Ms, you did you say."
Mr Kelly chuckled lightly.
Tracy fancied the way those two men discussed freely. Mr Kelly seems to be a cheerful man, he is ready to take everyone along in his speech.
"Yeah." Tracy finds her voice after a minute of silence.
"I think leisure is over, 30 minutes have passed." Tracy said, politely. Not ready to interrupt their discussion but time didn't permit that either.
"Oh, yeah! We should start going." Mr. Kelly said, taking the move.
…
Kelvin decided to check on the beautiful girl again. He walked into the small coffee shop.
He bought out his phone to put a call through her, at a call center. He knew it was Mr Cornelius calling without checking it.
Hesitating for a while, he pressed the green button angrily.
"What did you want again, old man." He yelled. All attention in the shop was directed to him immediately. When he saw the attention he had dragged, he stood briskly, before the eyes of the people bore a hole in his skin.
"Red valley." Mr Cornelius said.
"Father, I am going nowhere, I don't care how you are going to do it. Am fucking tired, let me live my damn life, am not your only son." He roared at him, like he could see him right there.
"Listen to me young man, I give just 10 minutes, if the redhead empire should get there before you, forget you ever exist." He can feel his father's anger through the words, and he means those words.
"What have I ever done to deserve this agonizing life?" He thought, gritting his teeth tightly together.
"Maybe dying would be the best way to end this unpleasant life." He said, tears elope his eyes.
He is hated by his mother because of his father's dirty game. She uses the back of his hand to wipe the tears off.
I will scale through this." He said with gritted teeth
