I turned towards the Kitchen, ready to make breakfast for my husband. However, Kayla stood in my way, obstructing my path.
I got annoyed and pushed her aside forcefully, causing her to stumble and fall to the floor. Without looking back, I continued walking towards the kitchen.
As I made my way forward, I could hear Rita's distressed voice in the background, exclaiming,
"Oh, my Goddess! My daughter! My Queen, did you see what she did to your son's wife? Did you see what this imbecile did to the future Luna of Lunas!" Rita continued yelling as she hurriedly helped her daughter up from the ground.
Determined to stop me, Kayla rushed at me once again, positioned herself in front of me, and raised her hand to strike me. But before her blow could land on me, Nadia intervened and called out to her.
"Kayla!" Nadia's voice cut through the tension, causing Kayla's hand to freeze mid-air.
