Three days had passed since Jordan had left and never returned. I was in the open square, putting the final touches on the manuscripts I intended to give my author friend, hoping she would help me publish my work.
Jenna, on the other hand, was relaxing on a mat, engrossed in a novel. When I glanced up, I noticed her looking at me with a smile on her face. I could tell she was up to something.
Ever since Jordan and I had separated for good three days ago, Jenna had been feeling down, but today she appeared oddly happy.
I decided to ignore her mischievous gaze and focus on my writing. However, her mischievous chuckling kept distracting me. Frustrated, I dropped my pen onto the open book, lifted my head, and fixed my gaze on her.
"Alright, Jenna what's going on?" I asked, my arms folded across my chest.
