Chapter 107 - Chapter 107: Genius Tsunade!

The next day, Tsunade woke up feeling refreshed. As soon as she woke up, her eyes landed on Tsukimi, who was sweating bullets while doing push-ups with his bare upper body.

Instead of doing simple push-ups, he was pushing his body up and down while doing a handstand. Tsunade's eyes roamed over Tsukimi's naked torso, his well-defined muscles glistening with sweat, unlike anything she had ever seen.

As a medical expert, she could tell the body he had was not something easy to achieve, even for a ninja. She continued to stare at his body until she felt two sharp pairs of eyes on her.

*Cough*

As if realizing that she had been staring for too long, Tsunade coughed and turned her head sharply to hide the blush on her face.

The most shocking thing that Tsunade did not know was that he had been using his seals to form a hundred-times gravitational field on his limbs.

Each part of his body was experiencing an excruciating amount of stress. Fortunately, there were no muscles and fibers in his body, or they would have been torn apart by the training he was doing.

The sweat itself was something Tsukimi made his body excrete because seeing the sweat gave him a feeling of satisfaction that he had achieved something.

Hearing the cough from Tsunade made Tsukimi halt his action. Even though he had sensed her waking up, he was too focused on his workout to care.

He saw his two little wives glaring at the woman like she had stolen something from them.

"What happened while I was unconscious?" calming herself, Tsunade asked while trying not to look Tsukimi in the eyes. Unknown to her, there was a slight blush on her face.

"Nothing much, sensei came and told us that we will be engaging in a battle with the shinobi from the Hidden Sand."

Hearing those words, all of her embarrassment washed away, and Tsunade looked at Tsukimi with a shocked expression.

"He told us to be prepared for the war to reach its peak soon. He found traces of the shinobi moving around in the shadows."

Tsunade's eyes turned solemn as she got up from her bed without a change of expression on her face. She put on her green haori and turned toward the exit.

"I hope you are ready, Akihiko-kun. I will teach you my method to treat the poison."

Tsukimi did not reply to anything but silently followed her out of the room. His eyes, holding a glint of wisdom, looked over to the side, as if they could see through the walls of the room, and landed on the people lying on the bed.

After coming out of the room, Tsunade was shocked to see the people from her camp diligently working to improve themselves.

It was not that they never liked to improve themselves, but it was just that they were not this motivated or determined before. Now, she could see the fire blazing in their eyes.

Not the fake fire of manipulation Hiruzen came up with, but the real Will of Fire that her grandfather led the village with.

Seeing the smiling face of the boy beside her from the corner of her eye, she realized that he had something to do with this, but now was not the time for her to ask that question.

She walked toward the nearest infected ninja and then turned to look at Tsukimi.

"We will start with the least infected person. This way, we can take our time, and you will be able to see the process more precisely."

With skilled movements, she made a cut on the body of the person. Her hands moved swiftly and precisely; she did not make any unnecessary or wasteful moves.

After she started the initial treatment, she asked for the boy's help as she had the day before. Tsunade then started the main procedure. She asked a nearby worker to bring a clear bowl of water. Tsunade placed the bowl on the table beside her.

"Follow the flow of my chakra and the manipulation I am doing. It would be even better if you use your senses to observe it. Even though sensor ninjas cannot compare to the Hyuga, they have their own advantages."

Acting like he was following Tsunade's instructions, Tsukimi started to observe the process on a microscopic scale. He watched as the green chakra, which was Yang chakra forming a cloud on Tsunade's hands, moved inside the person's body and tried to fight the poison without damaging the body but was unsuccessful.

Tsukimi immediately understood why Tsunade was using this approach to cleanse the poison.

Maybe it was because she is a woman, but her Yang energy was not enough to destroy the poison upon touching it. If she increased the output of chakra, the infected organs would be affected because of the strain from the foreign chakra.

These alone were the two things that could make any doctor give up on treating a person, but Tsunade did not give up on finding a solution. Tsukimi could see, even while she was treating the least infected person, her eyes filled with a serious expression and her shoulders burdened with the fate of the person lying on the bed in front of her.

Looking at these points, Tsunade came up with the solution of surrounding the poison in the cloud of her Yang chakra and pulling it out of the system along with it.

He must say, he was impressed with the genius way of her thinking. It did not take long for her to finish the process of drawing out the first set of poison, but while she used this method to draw out some, a portion of the poison would stay behind a little bit, which is also the reason she had to repeat the process over and over again until everything was out of the system and her antidotes could work on the patient.

After the process of treatment was complete, Tsukimi could not help but comment.

"You are truly a genius in this, Tsunade!"
