"Where are you?!" Cecelia Anderson was at their family home.
"I'm outside." Bella Scott heard the voice of Clara on the other side of the phone and knew where Cecelia was at the moment.
"Did you leave home in the middle of the night to go to Cherden Hotel to find him?" Cecelia revealed Bella's whereabouts in one sentence.
Bella's emotions were fluctuating greatly, and she slowed down her car, finally pulling over to the side of the road.
She took a deep breath before responding: "I realized I'm not as carefree as Edward Anderson and can't just let him go like that."
Charles White had once told her that Edward was willing to do anything for her and loved her deeply.
Edward himself had never actually said that Bella was the only person he wanted, but she could feel that he truly loved her. As for how much love he had for her, she couldn't tell.
But now she knew that whether or not Edward had loved her, his love for her couldn't compare to the shadow left by Janae Smith's death.
