Edward Anderson spoke softly.
He knew Bella was capable, but he still didn't want her to take risks.
Though Edward didn't explicitly say it, Bella understood his concerns.
"Alright, I'll leave everything to you, and I won't meddle in it." Bella leaned into Edward's embrace.
He just wanted her to stay safe and take care of herself and the children, so she decided to be a well-behaved little woman.
Edward hugged her tightly: "Once I'm done with all this work, I'll take you and the kids on a trip abroad."
"Hmm, don't worry too much. There's no one as formidable as you. Besides, don't you have Martez Parkerr and the Hernandezs as your backup?" Bella laughed.
Although Martez was in danger at the moment, she believed that with Edward's help, Martez would come out unscathed.
That night, they didn't go home, instead, they spent a romantic evening outdoors.
Jessica Scott was very upset, thinking that her parents had abandoned her and her brother, and that they were too selfish!
